Excellent reception, 4 out of 4 bars. But, this is only outside. I've heard 3395 is one of the most sensitive phones. Once inside (I live in mobile home (aluminum walls), it is down to 2-3 bars next to the windows and 0-1 everywhere else. Now, my roommate, has Verizon service on a phone with extendable antenna. He has 4 bars inside. Verizon is known to be good in somewhat "forgotten areas" like this one. My phone provides excellent reception in Irvine on Redhill and Alton, 4 bars even inside building, well, pretty much like anywhere in "good" areas.

I have had no problems with Verizon here in Santa Ana. I get good receltion almost everywhere except south of the border. If you plan to go south of the border, use Sprint. They provide excellent coverage there.

You get really good coverage out in this area. Other companies have 1 or 2 bars here, but I've got to say that Virgin Mobile has great reception.

Two years ago had Sprint. Zero reception. Switched to Verizon and finally dumped my land line! :) It seems to be the only decent service in the hills.

I have been with T mobile for 2 years now. The reception has gotten much better over those 2 years. When I first started with them I was without service in my house 50% of the time. Now I have great reception and there Tech support (611) does a great job helping when you have a problem. The new MDA works great. There is a problem with the Bluetooth though.

Listen, everyone is entitled to their opinion, as am I. What I believe is that a person should be well informed and then begin to formulate an "educated opinion" to see both sides of the spectrum. Getting to the point, other than specifiying the carrier, other important factors come into play when regarding good / poor or no recepetion. I understand a person's frustrations with receptions at times of need. Having a good phone like a Nokia or Samsung to match the full potential of one's ceulluar provider, can be the difference between being able to hear well or great, and vice versa. I personally have had a god 4 year experience with T-mobile. They provide upfront a Personal Coverage Check before you sign UP, which no other wireless provider does to my knowledge; and a 24 / 7 telephone operators. If someone becomes easily frustrated with a dropped call or minute problem, then maybe you should reconsider the reason for getting a cell phone in the first place conveniance! Not a neccesity!
