reception is only good to make a call but you have to find a good spot indoors, if you go outside you might get 2 bars... .

Generally have 4 or five bars (five bars = Max) anywhere in Bella Vita Apt Complex. Also, have never dropped a call in the Santa Clara, CA area.

Rock solid coverage in this area, and most of Lawrence expressway and Stevens Creek. Good coverage on 101 and 280. However, there is a BIG hole on 280 between Palo Alto and Redwood City.

Rock solid all over town including indoors. I also have a Cingular phone for work and the reception is very poor by comparison. I wonder though, how much the model of phone(or condition of the phone) has to do with an individual's reception experience? Some people report bad coverage with Verizon in San Jose area, but my experience has been great.

Reception in the highrise office building ranges from 1-4 bars, depending on which office or window. Reception out site is good.
