	Reception vaires greatly from 5 bars to zero reception depending on day, location in or around house. Reception was more consistent over a year ago. 60% reliable now with room for improvement. A provider allowed me to bring home (test drive) three different carriers. I drive to San Luis Obispo once a week. Nextel, T-Mobile and Verizon. Nextel had very good reception would have been my first choice but rate plans didn't fit my needs. T-Mobile was useless for my location (no signal) worked great on major roadways. Verizon was consistent with good choice of rate plans. Have provider let you test service and phone model in your area before you sign that contract.

	Service is horrible in San Jose area as well as when in Phoenix Arizona. Have tried different phones, and it is all bad.
