I used to be a AT&T customer but because of financial issues switched over to Virgin Mobile... $35 / month 300 mins, unlimited data and text and I must say it is a great decision! I have the Motorola Triumph (high end android device on Virgin) and reception and 3G work everywhere! I am so glad that I decided to make the switch.

Wth? Apparently there is a cell site on bear creek school that is completed butt AT&T is awaiting final contract with the city of Stockton to " flip the switch" or so I am told the negotiations are moving slow by AT&T. Any day!

Crappy 3g only edge I am embarresed at my service. Voice service is ok but losses signal in most buildings it sucks east of town period.

The worse area to have att, drop calls constantly, ring once then straight to voicemail. Must climb upstairs to get reception, even outside is weak signal, perhaps being higher helps, when speaking in the phone no one could hear as well hearing them it's like they are under water. Call AT&T about the problem they said they are building a tower soon in sept. 2010, still no reception, no improvement, Misleading! Text message, never goes out, send and try again, send and try again! have a DATA plan how can I even search anythin on the phone if it's that slow. Been having this service for almost 6 years, too much faith in them improving the reception here but... i'm planning to switch!

Employee at Trinity ATT store told us a new tower will be installed by 10 / 30 / 2010. The alleged tower site will be north of Ignacio, that would put it at Bear Creek HS or Julia Morgan elementry school, or a little further north. Would swap service providers in one day if Verizon will make a deal with Apple and ATT.

Reception poor to nonexistent in parts of the house and on many areas of St. Andrews Drive.

horrible. poor at best. AT&T reports they are putting up a new tower in september '10, however they made the same claim in june'09, and jan '09.. so we'll see.

Outdoors reception is good but indoors I have to make 3-4 calls to the same person just to finish a conversation due to dropped calls and "service unavailable" issues. Wife has same issues with LG Shine CU720. Also had same issues with previous phones but was told phones were probably the problem, Changed phones and still have trouble so AT&T service looks to be the culprit. Gonna change carriers as soon as contract is up.

I get a great 1x and 3g network coverage I mostly text but the messages send faster some how thanks Verizon I had an iphone before and the signal was lost in the back portion and back yard of my house

Turning north onto Herndon from Ben Holt, and particularly on Blue Ridge, reception drops to intermittent and calls begin to drop.
