Dropped calls and no bars. Has never been this way before, changed about 6 months ago. We will be switching over to someone else.

We have had Verizon for many years and have been pleased. However,in the last 6 months the coverage in my home and several other places around town have been horrible. We will be switching as soon as our contract is up.I am bummed.

We have been very loyal customers of Verizon for seven years and we have issues of the calls dropping all that time we have called Verizon so many times to complain about this because we use are phones inside the house sometimes from one cellphone to another and the calls drop all the time and finally a Verizon saleperson sent a message to the network and the salesperson it will be taken care in 3 to 4 days and Verizon has never done anything to fix the problem and finally one person from Verizon said go outside to make your calls at night. And they think we are going to sign for another two years I don't think so and finally Verizon sale person said go do business with another carrier that very rude of the person to say and finally I e-mailed the FCC on the issue. Verizon used to be good here. Now they're not. Sadly, they don't care about the service and probably won't notice when I don't renew. Their network is falling apart and they want me to upgrade to compansate for their decreasing service area. I'm not as dumb as they want me to be.

Verizon used to have great reception for us, but now we drop calls, or have 1 bar. Verizon says I'm in a bad reception area and should purchase a boosting device that Verizon sells at $250.00. I don't think so Verizon. I might look into buying it somewhere else, but for now... I'm dropping calls.

Anyone else having this same problem? Not ringing through, dropped calls. This happens lately in Southern Temecula around Great Oak High School and parts of Redhawk, and extends into the Rainbow area (though that wasn't really news ;). My son and I try to reach each other, but the other's phone won't ring and messaging will be often several minutes delayed. I give up on any reception when visiting someone at the top of a hill in the Rainbow area - I get bars, but calls or messages show up hours later. Have a chance to switch to Sprint but was a little leery of it.

Reception has been great for years. Then starting around October 1st 1 bar at most. Seems to be happening all over this on area. Will call vzw today.

I used to get great service in my house, now I have to pick areas in my home to make / keep a call. What happen to Verizon? I'm dropping calls,and get 2 bars at the most.

Have had T-Mobile for so long mostly due to their pricing for the amount of minutes I want / need, however the service has been poor. Today, for example, out of 6 phone calls I made upstairs in my house, 4 of them dropped in the middle of the call! Not acceptable. I know they need more cell towers here, but are not putting them in, they keep acting like the problem is "my phone", however my husbands phone has the same problems, newer phone than mine, Samsung, so I know it is their lack of cell towers in the area. I wouldn't recommend T-Mobile, but then, I have no idea who I would recommend at this point! Their customer service people are nice but since they cant solve the problems, pretty useless.

Have had the Curve over 2 years and get roughly 2 bars at my house. AT&T was / is spotty inside my house per my wife's phone. The BB doesn't miss calls and the quality is passable which says a lot considering I'm on the Edge data network side a lot.

Reception is somewhat good. Customer service is horrible. Went in for a defected phone, came out with cancelled service. Called customer support and they cant do nothing about it. I would not recommed VZ to anyone. I would rather work with poor reception than poor customer service.

at&t is the worst cell tower deactivated 6 yrs promises for two yrs still nothing

Left Verizon due to no coverage at house, caused by a hill blocking signal. Verizon wasn't sure when a new tower would go up, so switched to T-Mobile where you can get cell signal through your internet router. It works awesome - no more missed calls at home! T-Mobile service otherwise is OK - usually 2 bars, but always get calls. Reception is a bit scratchy, but I like the idea of not buying into the "Big Brother" network, Verizon. Also, Verizon does not allow Wi-Fi, T-Mobile does. I also love the sim card used in T-Mobile phones. All your info is on the sim card, so switching a phone takes 2 minutes - no reloading of info onto the new phone like with Verizon. Gifting a new phone to someone in the family is so easy... just switch the sim card and the new phone works!

most of the time only 1 or 2 bars, lots of dropped calls, phone searches for signal most of my work day and the battery is down to 25% by the end of the day, service seems a little better in the am then the later part of the day, had just signed 2 year contract week before I got the new job, will be leaving ATT in December

I can use my phone but not send pix unless I go outside and hold the phone into the air. My daughter, with a Chocolate, had poor reception, with only a couple of places in our house getting any reception at all.

I have to walk around my back yard and hold the phone just right until I find a tiny spot where I get reception. Phone does fine on road, however.

great reception in most places in temecula. Even worked great in San Francisco, Michigan, Ohio. Also in Germany, Austria, Italy and Australia. Great service, good rates for phone and text. would recomend this company and phone or similar Samsung phones.

i have a I phone and my wife has a Cingular service also and we get no reception from at&t

Verizon service is perfect in almost all of Temecula. I had Cingular and it was horrible. Could only get reception in one upstairs room. Verizon is great. I just really want to get an iPhone and am disappointed.

AT&T is absolute garbage out here. They don't care about taking good people's money and keeping them in bogus contracts because they "claim" to provide service. They told me today that they are the "largest" service provider in the country. I call BS on this one. They know they're garbage too because they refuse to give a physical address over the phone to write a letter too, and they don't provide one on their website either.
