at&t is the worst cell tower deactivated 6 yrs promises for two yrs still nothing

most of the time only 1 or 2 bars, lots of dropped calls, phone searches for signal most of my work day and the battery is down to 25% by the end of the day, service seems a little better in the am then the later part of the day, had just signed 2 year contract week before I got the new job, will be leaving ATT in December

i have a I phone and my wife has a Cingular service also and we get no reception from at&t

AT&T is absolute garbage out here. They don't care about taking good people's money and keeping them in bogus contracts because they "claim" to provide service. They told me today that they are the "largest" service provider in the country. I call BS on this one. They know they're garbage too because they refuse to give a physical address over the phone to write a letter too, and they don't provide one on their website either.

ATT is useless. I just went into their store as I am soooo frustrated with no cell phone coverage. I used to get poor reception and it has gotten worse. The store employee instructed me to call them and they would waive the cancellation fees. After 20 minutes on the phone with a technician he said I was in a moderate coverage area and that he would check my options. My only options were that he was going to "notify" the technicians and when they met once a month they would discuss it. I asked if they were going to call me back and he said that they weren't and that it probably wouldn't do any good. My only other option was to cancel which would be a $400 cancellation charge. I have a few choice words in my head when I think of ATT right now. They are horrendous.

AT&T was poor to begin with here at the house, now really bad reception for the last several months... called customer service and was told that a tower was down... so figured I hang tough... well now no reception... found out they did not renew their lease on a tower and this is more or less a permanent deal... they can't explain the sudden stop in all service... but they are all about delay tactics... gotta move to Verizon ASAP

Just spoke to Att. Some contract with T-Mobile to use their towers expired recently. They are waiving early contract cancellation fees.

I use to get full reception (5 bars) but now I get none. Its very hard to make or receive calls. My wife has a Nextel phone and it gets perfect reception. We will be switching to sprint / nextel when our contract is up.

I can Call, Text mess., go online, everything except Receive Calls, recieve Text Mess or receive Voice Mess. Is my Sim Card The problem?? Help thanks

I have had poor reception in the entire Temecula area for the last year and a half. Where are these improvements Cingular is supposed to be making to their network. And the GSM coverage is misleading, I've had terrible reception across the country when I travel. I've experienced dropped call after dropped call on a daily basis (stuck in that 2 year contract). And I can't get reception in my house at all. If I'm lucky, I might get reception outside.

Reception was better during the winter... DockNTalk actually worked well, but not, reception is getting worse. Unless I find a phone with better reception, I guess I'll have to crawl back to Verizon land line.

Sometimes we get reception, then we don't. It's driving my wife nuts. I hate paying $8 in phone taxes to verizon. I just want to buy a Dock N Talk and use my $90 cellphone plan. A friend mentioned that a phone with 850 mhz frequency would work better.

Cingular does not serve the needs of its customers at all unless you live in major metropolitan cities. The merger with ATT has just created more problems. GSM does not work in the USA, and European technology needs to go the way of the dinosaur.

I have absolutely no reception at home. I live in an apartment and while my blackberry occasionally gets service, my Motorola never does. It is very frustrating to not receive any calls at home.

Not very good reception in any part of the house or parts of the city for that matter, have to talk in the garage for a little better reception, but still encounter drop calls all the time. Hey, but on the 5 fwy in the middle of the valley in nowheres land, excellent reception...looks like I'll be moving to Santa Nella to have no complaints!!
