I have the same problem with my sprint. The phone signal bar are 1 or 2 and drop a lot of calls at my house. No point in getting Sprint anymore waiting for contract to be over.

I'm a long-time Sprint customer having used it for years in San Francisco and Vallejo, CA - rarely a dropped call. Will continue with Sprint without hesitation.

No reception to very little reception in my house with Verizon off Oakwood between TN and Springs.

Coverage in house often drops to > 100db and cannot hold calls, or rely on use for business.

Terrible reception and many dropped calls from this area from Cingular / ATT.

I've been with Cingular for years and reception has greatly increased in my city of Vallejo after the AT&T merger last year. I don't expect to get 5 full bars unless I'm outside or driving on the freeway- to expect 5 full bars in your house or buildings is aiming high. Even with 2-3 bars, I can still hear and talk with clarity with others.

At home in No. Vallejo its like a dead spot most of the time, 1-2 bars on a good day. Ppl have been telling me upgrade the phone, I brought my friends Sony Ericsson S710 home, same thing, same crap reception. Around town and around the Bay it works great. Same results with my T-Mobile service with Sony Ericsson T610. I think I need to give up on GSM for the house.

T-Mobile's reception in East Vallejo is pretty good. It all depends on what phone you have though. I used to have lots of droped calls on my Motorola C650, which got like 3 out of 6 bars, but with my Nokia 3300, which is an older phone, I get reception even with just 1 bar out of 6 and the call still sounds fine.

I note that Redwood St.does not meet Columbus Pkwy. in Vallejo. That is, it is not _Street_. This is next to zip 94591 in Vallejo, not American Canyon. Same excellent reception for my Motorola phone, I think model V265.

I've been using the phone from the same location for about 9 months and it has been working fine. Now I get extremely limited reception in that same area. The phone just keeps beeping signaling that it's searching for a signal. Every call over five minutes is dropped.

No reception at all with "the most reliable network in the Bay area." Better think twice about switching to Verizon.
