I've never had a problem with my T-Mobile phone around Vista. My husband has Verizon and has no coverage in the house.

Great reception at home and work. Never had a dropped call or a "no service" dead spot. Used to have AT&T prior to Cingular buy-out and did have only one bar and almost every call was dropped, but since I have been on T-Mobile I havent had any problems at all :-)

I had Cingular for two years with lots of phones (Motorola V60, Samsung SGH-X427, etc.). All have had good service and perfect signal in my house.

1-2 bars is average in my house, and messages don't send / receive 90% of the time, and when they do, they take long periods of time. Dropped calls are VERY frequent, and the overall tech support is HORRIBLE. If you are looking for a phone carrier, I don't suggest getting Verizon, unless you plan on living on top of a cell phone tower, even that might not work.

I got the best deal ever on this phone and service
(had tried many others)...but, I do have to put up with more-than-most dead zones!!
I never sign a binding contract without first finding out if there is reception at my home. I have great reception at home and hopefully won't move for awhile :)

Overall I am satisfied with T-Mobile. Had most other carriers over the years with Nextel prior to T-Mobile for 6 years. At my house I get no bars-to-2 bars at its best. My wife has Sprint / Nextel still and her reception is even worse. I never had any problems in Los Angeles, Mira Mesa, but since moving to North San Diego County I have had a frustrating at times relationship with my cellular service.

Frequent disconnects, extremely unreliable service. The entire downtown Vista strip along Santa Fe is supported by service that is weak at best.
