before they changed the chip.. I had good reception and no dropped calls inside and out.. Now.. forget it! have to go outside to take / make a call on the cell.. and I can no longer do business on it.. they keep dropping my calls.

Lucky if you get your call at all.. No dropped calls my aunt fanny! I'm lucky to complete one call without a drop or noise.. and inside a building.. forget it..

I am actually about 1 mile north of this intersection. About 2 years ago, we could never get reception in the home and had to move a few blocks to get anything. We presently get good or perfect reception with no dropped calls ever.

Nextel in general tends to have very poor reception in rural, residential areas. In my home, I can receive text msg or a call, but couldn't send a message, or talk on my cell. I would have to call from a land line. Hope for better reception is not going to be forthcomming. With sprints acuisition of Nextel, I hoped that the coverage would improve, but a friend who works with Nextel says that there will not be a combining of cell sites until at least 2008.

NO reception indoors. Returned to superior Sprint service in this area.

just driving into the complex I have two bars which quickly turns into no bars, in my second story apartment I get a big fat X for signal, sometimes I get the bars outline and I have managed to recieve txt messeges this way and even send one or two but never seen it with even one bar and it's impossible to make a voice call. My girlfriend's Cingular works fine and my friend's Sprint works here took, I love my sidekick but I might need to get rid of it because I need it to work! I called T-Mobile and they said they wern't planning on putting any towers in this area anytime soon, but my phone works great around town, no problems so far.

Works sometimes and not others. Only on the second floor of my house, voice quality much worse than Sprint and that is only when I can make a call. they have a great plan at tmobile, but the ability to use the phone may make me keep my Sprint which I have alway been happy wth

Reception in this area is extremely hit or miss. Sometimes I can go an entire day without getting reception in the same house, then the next week I will have 1-bar for an hour. I get no reception while driving, but the moment I go on my roof (yes I tested it), I can manage to eek out a bar. I tend to get better reception with my i90 than my i860, but relying on it in this area is hopeless.

Terrible voice quality, calls dropping, even though I have six bars on the antenna signal indicator. I don't know whether it's the phone or AT&T - but I am going to swap out my phone and see. I am up on a hill, and have an unobstructed southern exposure.

When you head up Fairmont north / east bound, you get perfect service, when you head the opposite direction, guaranteed dropped call. Didn't matter what phone, dropped. Is it the service or phone?
