just changed, call from home are bad, looking for better phone, had Verizon and even that was better

With My Cingular Service I could'nt be happier in the Westwoods Area. We had Sprint, but we had every single one of our calls dropped. With Cingular that has happened only once or twice while traveling on I-70 in the Utah desert or on a day with horrible weather.

Brand new service, can't get phone calls while sitting in my house. Walk outside and get 1-2 bars of service. Travel north from University along I-25 then west on I-70, a lot of dropped calls or no service available along the way.

Reception was good until the merger wtih Cingular took place. Since that time, the reception has become fuzzy, hollow, voice mail is late, picking up other people's conversations, and the number of bars has dropped from 4 to 2. At home, coverage was so-so with just AT&T, now, there is no coverage in my basement, little in the kitchen, but full coverage when I face NW on the deck. Was ok with AT&T but Cingular has ruined my experience. Too bad. Have until December then I can switch to Verizon.

Paying for a cell phone that rarely works. Every call gets dropped. Cricket says this is a bad area.

so many areas of "no service" in the metro area. and this is a work phone.

Marginal service seems to get worse every month. I drop calls in Downtown Denver, DTC, Arvada, and points in between. Especially bad around NW Arvada, where the phone repeatedly drops "in" and "out" of service. Don't buy Nextel service in or around Denver / Arvada.

I was thinking of dumping Qwest because they can't update a simple PRL. After reading this, I think I'll stick with them. In town, it just works, every time -- even in my basement. Most places on the road (roaming), it just works.

Just enough reception to drop a call. Just about everyone in my phonebook has asked for me to switch service. Sprint is no good in North Arvada.
