FINALLY, after more than a decade or the worst reception in the world, Verizon has built a tower near 80th and Kipling and we now get 3-4 bars at our house where we used to never get any. We coudn't receive or make calls for fear of dropped calls before but now we can actually take advantage of our long distance plan and make calls to our kids out of state. Wonderful at last!

I was thinking of dumping Qwest because they can't update a simple PRL. After reading this, I think I'll stick with them. In town, it just works, every time -- even in my basement. Most places on the road (roaming), it just works.

Sprint has 3 to 5 bar signal strength. Verizon kept loosing reception and dropped numerous calls in West Arvada. Sprint works best in West Arvada compared to the other 4 major cell phone companies.

I have always had good coverage from T-Mobile at and around my home in Arvada. I hit a few dead spots along the I-76 corridor on the way to work, but otherwise it's great... in Colorado. When I travel out of state it's a different story. Coverage in Washington D.C. and other major cities is usually terrible. I used to have AT&T and it was equally bad. For some reason we seem to be pretty fortunate here on the Front Range.

Everywhere I go, I have pretty reliable coverage. A few years ago there were a few spots I'd consistently drop, but those have gone away. I mostly spend time in the NW suburbs, but I get all over town and have not had a problem. My phone works well most of the way up I-70 to Vail as well.

With My Cingular Service I could'nt be happier in the Westwoods Area. We had Sprint, but we had every single one of our calls dropped. With Cingular that has happened only once or twice while traveling on I-70 in the Utah desert or on a day with horrible weather.

I never had a bad experience with my reception or customer service for the three years I was with T-Mobile. However, I received a letter from T-Mobile which stated they were offering me a service guarantee and that if for any reason I decided to cancel my account I would not be charged the termination fees. WOW! It is months now and I've spoken to several people at T-Mobile. I switched to Cingular because of their roll-over minutes... However, I've had to make several phone calls to T-Mobile for a corrected final bill to be sent to me without the termination fees. I've faxed them my letter that I received and two supervisors have both stated that the termination fees should be removed, however, they have to submit the request to another dept who then calls me and says the charges are valid and no further explanation is given. My acct has now been forwarded to a collections agency who wants to settle the account and give me a 25% reduction. My final bill should have only been aroun $120, but they want me to pay $538.02 (this includes the $200 / per phone termination fees). What I don't understand is how can it be legal for a company to give you something in writing that states you may exit your contract without paying the termination fees, but then turn around and tell you they will not remove the fees in the end. Anyone have this same issue? Anyone in the legal field that has any advice for me please repsond with comments.

Great reception at home throughout most of house. Can even make and receive calls in basement, which was not possible with T-Mobile. Verizon is great around most of the Denver area (and much of the state), although Arvada has several dead spots (particularly around 64th and Indiana).
