My cell reception is very poor, with many dropped calls and broken voices. I often cannot understand what people are saying and they same the same for me. My text messages do not send and when I receive them they come in multiple times. My data is almost non-existant and when I asked VZW about this they literally laughed and said, "Yeah, we had a software update that didn't go well with a lot of phones so that'll happen." And they left it at that. They want me to buy a new phone and they won't replace the one I have even though it is faulty by their own making. In Denver I cannot get reception anywhere.

We just went to the 4g system as a total package for cell phone and internet and it is completely unreliable. Dropped service constantly on internet. 3g instead of the 4g I bought. Poor cell phone reception. All in all a very bad service period! Don't do it if you are considering it!

I commute everyday on Light Rail between Nine Mile Station and Downtown Denver. I use 3G to stream internet radio and browse the web. I get very good reception for the whole trip with only a couple of locations where the signal goes to 1x for a minute or so. I don't talk a lot but I've never dropped a call in the year I've had the Droid.

Denver, Aurora, CO 80010 Tue Oct 20, 2009

Verizon works great here if you have a LG phone. Samsung picks up nothing and Motorola is not any better. I get full service with my LG. That should solve most peoples problems. Oh, and the max number of bars you can get is 4 anyway... You must have an old phone if you get more then one. If its old, get a new one. Also, do *228 option 2 to update for any new towers or if they updated anything. Also, EV stands for 3G and 1X is voice. You cant use EV for voice.

The network guys, stop around 6th Ave and Havana as you head northbound. Verizon excuse, too far away from tower but for $250 I could get a booster box. For $250 I could switch to a better carrier. Their store on Mississippi and Albion has pretty bad reception and the staff are pretty useless. The "tech" said all was fine in this area. Hmm. NOT! Switching as our contract has ended. Tired of dropping calls and talking in to what sounds like a trash can.

Have called Verizon for 4 months straight since movning to this area, only 1 / 2 bar, drop calls constantly, or phone does not even ring, then an hour later you'll hear your voice mail. Opened numerous tickets just for them to say "Were sorry but we did not find nothing wrong" Really? And this is happening all up Montview Blvd.from Havanna to Colorado Blvd. Soon as you hit Denver, perfect signal strength, but there is nothing wrong right? Johnson and Wales Univeristy is on this road and they too have terrible signal strength. Students cannot use their cell's. Funny how your suppose to pay full price and only receive 25% of service? Or they tell me I need to buy this $250.00 signal booster?? I don't think so, Fix your towers or add more to improve signal VZ!

Can't use my phone in my house in East Centennial, I have to step outside or the call is so garbled I can't understand. I also cannot use my phone in my home in E. Vail... same issue. Many calls go to VM with o a ring. This is good to finally vent a bit, I had no idea so many are unimpressed with Verizon!

The Anschutz Medical Campus is a big dead zone. There's spotty reception here and there, but mostly none. Come on, the school needs money - offer to put a couple of towers on the roofs of the buildings here already.

Verizon doesn't work well in my home. I barely get a signal at my home. Most of the time the phone will ring but if you answer it the call will be dropped. We called Verizon and they said that they don't have any plans to fix the problem as of now. Seems that Sprint / Nextel works in the area and T-Mobile has decent coverage there.

I have had T-MObile for the last three years, and coverage and reception has always been great. Got a great corporate deal through Verizon thinking that it would work better in some areas in the mountains so we switched to Verizon with two BB 8703e. Calls drop constantly in the neighborhood. Only get reception in the home office on the second floor facing east. Verizon is sending me a demo to use for the next week so see if it is a phone issue or network issue. Will try demo, but thinking that I will end up back at T-Mobile.

Never got any dropped calls at the house, but calls are choppy with only 1-2 bars. Outside of the house I typically get very good reception, and at work, indoors at the tech center it is usually 3-4 bars.

Reception is ok but the signal is always broken. The call is not dropped, but only half of the words come through. I complained to Verizon and the supposedly sent a truck out to check the area. I have live in the same neighborhood for over 5 years and have had different phones with the same problem. They still claim that I must have a phone problem.

I am right at Orchard at Buckley to the SE. Verizon coverage - bars constantly go up and down. Signal strength is constantly fluctuating. I cannot have a conversation without missing sentences or words. Very poor.

Good reception at home with the new phone (Motorola v265). Previous phone (Startac 7868W) would only produce 2-3 bars, so the phone does make a difference. Service in an approximately 5 mile radius varies from 2 bars to 5 bars. Calls sometimes a little choppy with 2 bars, but never have totally dropped a call in the area.

Verizon Wireless coverage in Murphy Creek is AWFUL! VW actually came out to my house and conducted a test (while I was at work) and said that if I wanted to get the best signal, to go outside! Can you believe they want me to alter my life just to use their product? VW, it's time to go!
