I can't maintain a call, receive texts, or voicemails any where from 9th St.on west.

Att is a continual hastle, have to go to the front of the house or 2nd fl to get reception, will switch to another carrier as soon as contract is up next month, N. Boulder in general is bad with ATT.

Poor reception with frequent dropped calls two blocks weat of Broadway on North St.

I use my cellphone around SE Boulder County, Broomfield County, and Adams County. The phone service is frustratingly poor. More than 1 / 3 of my calls drop. The rest typically suffer from poor reception / fading.

Most of the time reception is very good. Occasionally will get a dropped call or the bars will go down for a short time.

AT&T coverage is terrible in Boulder. If you look at their map it lists almost all of Boulder as having good reception, but try driving down Iris and maintaining a call.

Been with AT&T for years, this summer service went really bad, customer care says nothing meaningful, rumor has it they are upgrading system but no one can tell when this poor service will end. Switching to Verizon in October 09 along with all my neighbors!

Have had AT&T going back to the Cingular days. Used to be happy with it. Getting really ticked off lately though. 2G voice coverage was really good with a decent phone like the blackberry curve. Have a Samsung zx20 3G phone that was also good when only on 2G. Since 3G has arrived, it has just gotten worse. The 3G signal is weak almost everywhere and calls are dropped all the time. North Boulder is particularly horrible inside any building. 2G coverage on the Curve, which used to be solid, is worse and now has frequently lousy voice quality and dropped calls. I have started using my landline again for family calls, due to how bad the call quality has gotten. Even with 4-5 bars, calls are static, crackle and pop. Clearly, the AT&T 3G rollout has had issues, probably due to all the Iphones overloading the network. If it doesn't get better in a month or so, I'm switching to somebody else.

Reception was very good when I first got the iPhone in October 2008 - better than Verizon (which I'd switched from). However, sometime around July 2009, service suddenly got much, much worse - tons of dropped calls, poor call quality, signal fading in and out. Sometimes you'll be looking at the phone with full bars, sitting in one place, and the bars / 3G symbol will just suddenly disappear entirely for 10 seconds, then return. Rumor is that AT&T is upgrading the network and that's causing the current issues, and that it will be resolved soon. Hope so, otherwise I'm heading back to Verizon.

Had good coverage at home until the last couple months. Dropping calls from home all the time. Will be switching soon.

I have tried to call AT&T 5 times to complain but my calls always drop before I can get any real help.

Reception is very good (5 bars), but the system is apparently overloaded as it drops calls or have intermittance voice - breaking down. This started last month and ATT says they will solve the problem by October. I am switching away.

At&t service getting worse,they must have redirected tower, can only use in one room in the house and sometimes outside. Other household members and guests seem to have better luck with Sprint and T-Mobile by a bar. Pathetic!

Many specific dead areas in Boulder and areas that drop calls regularly. Horrible service quality.

We switched to AT&T to get the iphone. We continually have poor service in our house and have to call clients back on a landline. The coverage fades in and out. We had strong coverage with Sprint before switching.

terrible coverage at my home near 75th and Baseline. Always drop outs on Baseline east of 95th street and on McCaslin near Harper Lake. East Boulder County between Boulder and Louisville is a weak area for AT&T coverage.

I just switched from Verizon in order to get an iPhone. I have a basement office in my house and use my cell phone extensively. The ATT coverage is terrible. Calls cut in and out. I can't converse with my clients I hate to do it, but will probably have to go back to Verizon. Calling ATT today produced no satisfaction. Verizon was 4 bars.

Never above 2 bars of service, constant missed calls and garbled messages. I can always hear the other person fine, but they can never hear me. Driving me nuts.

Worst coverage of any carrier here.Iphone is great but if you live near here you will be mad at AT&T. Guess what... They don't care!

Terrible reception in this pocket of Boulder. Always have dropped calls, always miss words. I use my cell phone at home basically to take calls then call the person back from my land line. Have AT&T now, but it was just as bad when I had Verizon.

Bad, Bad, Bad. Someone place an antenna in this area so we might have a signal.

Disappointing service, especially when you consider that this is the "high tech" district in Boulder...

Cingular reception is terrible! My calls get dropped every few minutes and always have missed words.

Terrible reception or none at all here in my neighborhood. Constant dropped calls all over town, particularly north Boulder. I would estimate that 50% of my calls fail in Boulder, and 90% of them fail on the north side of Boulder. I bought my iPhone (which I love) before moving here, and boy is AT&T coverage a huge problem. From what I hear, no networks here work well. I cannot believe it's been this bad for years and no networks are stepping up. Incredible.

west Gunbarrel is spotty with AT&T. Sometimes cannot get signal in the house. Other problem spots - Valmont and Foothills - if I'm on the phone driving into Boulder from the Diagonal, when I get to just before Valmont, calls often drop. Picks up again just south of Valmont. Most of the rest of Boulder pretty OK. Been with ATT - Cingular - ATT (when will they make up their mind!) for 10 years....now thinking of switching...

The phone displays 3-4 bars until the phone rings or I make a call, after which it is usually 1-2 bars. However, this is so much better than it was 2 years ago that I have felt blessed. I can usually get a call out, but often will not know of an incoming call until I get the VM 1-3 days later. Many dead spots around Boulder, but I feel the service functions acceptably if I ignore the cost. Reminds me of the auto industry in the 70s. I have been with ATT (now Cingular) for many years out of simple static inertia and a lack of good alternatives. I still don't know what to do.

Sometimes one bar, sometimes no bars. I changed to Cingular from AT&T in January 2005 because the rollover minutes were attractive to me and because an employee at the Boulder Cingular store said a tower would be put in at 28th and Iris by March 28th. When I called Cingular about three weeks ago to ask if the tower had indeed been put in, I was told there was no plan to add a tower. The rollover minutes are meaningless to me, I can't even use my monthly minutes. When my two year contract is up, I will change services, unless the reception has improved. My husbands Verizon, my neighbor's T MO and my business partner's Sprint phones all work fine at this location.

Sometimes spotty, but typically good. Though I can't explain why at 2:03 and 2:05 a.m the phone drops calls every single day. Also I have the problem with calls dropping getting over the hill on 36 between Superior and Boulder, like it seems so many do.
