We love Alltell and get great reception in the mountains and everywhere else. The recption we get in the mtns. at our home has to have an antenna with abooster but we get 4 bars. the bummer is AT&T is buying out Alltell and they do not support our bag phone or any phone you can hook up an antenna to. to me this is not acceptable that a phone company can buy out another company and not be able to at least give the minimal amount of service that the comany they bought out has. this will leave us without phone service for our home, if we have an emergency may God help us as AT&T certainly will not. Yes we have contacted the CEO and president of AT&T. God is my povider and I believe he will provide or if it is his will then I guess we will step back in time 80 years.

I pay over a 100 bucks a month and have to drive 60 miles to just get voicemail or make sure I get an important phone call I am expecting... . AT&T doesn't give one hoot either..

the darephone or the Verizon service is confused. sometimes there's good reception sometimes theres bad reception. they just put in a new tower in this area and as far as I can tell they might as well have saved their money because it's not helping.

Just moved here from Chicago, and unbeknownst to us, there is NO cell phone tower for TMobile. I have to literally drive all the way to 115 in order to get decent reception and check my voicemail. Our contract is up in January, and I have no idea who to switch to, because it sounds like all the other carriers are not much better. Alltel has maybe 5 plans to choose from (very weak), and all of the reviewers on here have been trashing Verizon.

I can use it in some places but not all. If I go up on a huge mountain then I get perfect service. But I do get some analog service down lower

no reception from 3 miles outside of town all the way to westcliffe and the wet valley... Terrible, my wifes AT&T (TDMA) service is just the same, there are a lot of people moving to this area and there is NO service.
