Good reception except on parts of Uintah and into Manitou. Dropped calls often enough to be annoying. Sporadic reception in my house. I'd be happy to switch when my contract ends.
I have always been happy with my T-Mobile service. I have used them for about 6 years now from when they were Voicestream and the coverage has greatly improved. I travel all over the US and rarely loose coverage. I love my rate plan and the customer service can't be beat!
Switched from Sprint to Cingular. Sprint worked indoors and Cingular is terrible indoors. I will probably go back to Sprint. Cingular is patchy, their HS data package is slow and they are not exactly doing a great job with customer service so far
3 to 4 bars consistently. Switched to Verizon because T-Mobile had almost zero reception. Returned in 14 days, lots of hassles, not all the money back. Cusomer service was very poor. Bought our new phone from Ascent Mobile dba The Net Wireless 3244 CENTENNIAL BLVD. Colorado Springs, CO. 80907 (719) 227-0500 Very pleased with phone, reception, and the store. Always got the help I needed. I am a newbie to cell phones so I had to get help on finding things, loading goodies etc. My son travels to / from Durango a lot and has almost perfect reception the entire trip. No reception in the low population areas but that was to be expected. There was no reception there with TMobile either. At the college dorms he has very good reception. We were told this phone had better reception than the lower priced phones. We took one and drove around and sure enough, this one was better. They gave us a deal, instead of $99, we got it for $49. $69 a month for 700 shared minutes.
Have to cancel within our 14 days. We had 93 calls on the family plan and not one went with out being dropped. We are going back to Verizon since we always had reception in this area. We do lose service heading north on Centenial and then hit a brief, about 2 blocks, of roaming on Centennial near Trail Blazer Elementary School.
The only cell companies that really work at my home are Cingular and Nextel, that I know of for sure. I do know Verizon, Virgin Mobile, Sprint, Qwest, and AT&T DO NOT work here (0 to 1 bar).
Cingular reception is slim-to-non-existent at my house and the surrounding area around Mountain Shadows, Mount St. Francis, Vindicator, Delmonico. I plan on switching back to T-Mobile the day my Cingular plan expires. It can't be soon enough.
I have had T-Mobile for 4 years and have received nothing but excellent service from them, that is why I keep extending my contract. Great, reception, I live on a ground floor and use my phone with T-Mobile service for my laptop, no problems!
