Wish I would have found this site sooner! Had Cingular before. I had 3-4 bars of service here (noticed the cell phone tower is on the roof of the safeway). Then I switched to Verizon because I heard it worked better. BAD MOVE. I frequently loose calls and barely get a bar of service at my apartment. After reading all the bad reviews about Verizon dought its a phone problem. I notice Verizon works great on the interstates but poor a mile from them.

Verizon in West Highlands is terrible. Everywhere else it is great. I switched from Sprint to Verizon, because Sprint was aweful. That was a few years ago. I loved Verizon until I moved to West Highlands. Sounds like I am going to have to try Cingular.

I generally have very good coverage in Denver and up into the mountains. Every blue moon (3 times / yr) I'll have a dropped call. I recall previously having some trouble with AT&T / Cingularwireless in the Wash Park area, where I don't see any problem now.

Employer gave me a new Verizon LG VX5200. Calls to / from this location drop. Verizon tech support reloaded software - no help. Verizon field evaluation found this location to have no-to-poor service level.

T-Mobile SUCKS big time here in Hilltop at the intersection of 1st Ave. and Holly. We had a dinner party last night and 4 of our guests all were using T-Mobile. Well, er 'use' is a misnomer because T-Mobile reception here in my house is a 1 bar at best. Same thing happen on our guests' phones too, so it's not an issue with the phone. I'm so PO'd because it sounds like all cell phones in this area bite. Thank God for landlines!

No reception in spite of many Cingular promises and a map that shows coverage. Finally a Cingular tech admitted my coverage was "weak". It is so weak that I can't use the phone in my house or on my block. Have to go at least 2 blocks to make a call.

We live in an apartment and have really poor reception on both our Verizon phones. Occasionally, I am able to tilt my head just the right way and my phone temporarily works okay, but moving 2 inches to the left and I lose the call or it breaks up. Sometimes I'm able to walk outside on our porch and reception is better, but around home and sporadically throughout downtown Denver, we have really bad luck with reception on our Verizon phones.

Most of the time it works around here and Denver but sometimes I just lose signal for a few seconds or get a dropped call. Alot of that (I think) comes with the phone you have, I had Nokia's before and didn't really have any problems, then I decided to try Motorola - I'm not saying Motorola is the problem, but the SLVR is for sure. Sometimes it will just turn off for no reason and this is my 2nd one within last 3 months.

I live right on the corner of 36th and Wolff. I can't use my cell phone in the house and can barely use if I go outside. Everyone who has Verizon that comes over has the same problem, so I'm pretty sure it's not my phone. I'm about to drop Verizon since my 2 year contract just finished and I plan to tell them that it's because they basically have no coverage where I live (seems odd to tell them that since they seem to generally have good coverage). I'm planning to switch to Cingular - several people with Cingular have used their phones in my house with no problem.
