I'm in the top floor of one of the taller buildings in d / t and have little to no coverage in my office. My phone will show 4 bars or more when I go to dial a number but as soon as the call connects it drops down to 1 bar. If the call doesn't get dropped then I can hear 1 out of every 4 words from the person on the other end. Pretty horrible coverage in downtown Denver for the most part.
Used to be great but all of a sudden calls are dropped from inside the building or no reception at all. Just started in July / August '09. Guess I have to change carriers.
Patchy coverage on T-Mobil driving on Sante Fe and / or Kalamath from downtown Denver to about Mississippi. I purchased a new phone to see if that was the problem. It was not.
Zero reception in interior of building - 2-3 bars near outside of building. Always see people talking on cells in elevator and parking garage but I have zip for receptions, as do all the T-Mobile users in our office.
AT&T's service continues to decline. The service at 8th and Washing is horrible. It can go from full bars to zero bars in a matter of seconds. Dropped calls all the norm. I have talked with AT&T three different times, and they insist it is my phone, and their coverage is perfect in this area. My phone works elsewhere (most of the time) but does not work in Capitol Hill. I was told that AT&T will not doing anything unless they have "several complaints registered" (meaning email). PLEASE... if you have service troubles with AT&T send them an EMAIL. I am sending one every week until they actually listen to their PAYING CUSTOMERS.
Since I purchased the Iphone 3g in July '08 I have had issues with consistent 3g coverage, but the edge network would work most of the time. For the past week, however, I have been dealing with a phone that consistently drops calls all over the Denver metro area. AT&T tech support says every day that there are towers with "degraded service" and quote a time later that evening for a repair. Nothing as of yet has been restored to normal service. I just obtained a service credit but am unable to use my phone until I get out of the Denver downtown area. For instance, driving out to DIA, I cannot make a call that doesn't drop until I get to I70 and Colorado Blvd. Before that point, whether downtown near 16th st. mall or near Cheesman park, every call disconnects within 30 seconds. I find it disappointing that there is a disconnect between the technicians working on issues and the tech support line. If I were given an idea of what was going on, perhaps I could have more patience.
