My area borders the southwest side of the DTC. I mostly have 0 bars, no service or call failure. When I do get through, I drop every other call. It's a joke, I-25 is 1 / 2 mile away.

I have an iPhone 4 which is a very powerful phone but can't use it half the time! They are forcing me to pay for a data plan that downloads at less than 25 kilobytes a minute in most areas. Don't get me wrong, when it works it's great but that's so rare and I feel like I have to be standing in some 2x2 ft area or I'll lose it. It's not just restricted to the DTC area I work in; I run into this problem every other place I go. When I call out from home, half of the calls don't ever make to the other end (and I tested this calling my own landline!) and if someone leaves a voicemail I'll get it 2-4 hours later and never even see a missed call to go with it. THE NETWORK SERVICE IS RIDICULOUS. I might as well write a letter, tape it to my phone and throw it as far as I can. My message will have a much better chance of getting to the recipient that way.

Occaisonally I do not get connected on the first ring / call. I checked with Verizon and they said I inadvertently switched on the call forwarding. I do not even know how to do that!

This is at my residence and sometimes there will be 1 bar, sometimes none. Sometimes no service sometimes Searching. It is very annoying.

No signal when I'm in my office building, even though I'm in an office with a window. I thought maybe the building's construction could be a contributing factor, but my company uses Verizon for business cell phones and there are no signal problems anywhere inside the office. Those of us with AT&T phones have no signal. Will likely switch to Verizon if AT&T's promised network upgrades by the end of the year do not resolve the problem.

I get almost ZERO coverage at my house. Every call drops, and for the 10-15 seconds it works, it's picket fencing. I have to resend texts 4-5 times before one goes through, and I routinely receive voice-mails (without a call) and texts hours after they were sent. Their coverage map shows my area to be completely covered. Bull. Even leaving my neighborhood, coverage is spotty at best, from SE Denver all the way up to Boulder.

Just moved here from Arizona where the reception was flawless compared to Denver. I am having similar problems as the rest of the group: little to no service throughout the city, lots of dropped calls, "Searching" for a signal, etc. I have never been so frustrated with a cell phone in my life. I'd rather use a pay phone at this point. I just ordered the iPhone 4, hoping and praying that it will fix the problem, at least a little. However, with their ridiculous "bumper" issue, I doubt that I'll see an improvement. I am strongly considering switching to Verizon since they are supposed to be the "biggest". Anyone have any luck with Verizon? Based on some of the reviews here, I'm going to say NO.

Anyone complaining about Verizon is ill-informed about any other carrier. Verizon provides the best coverage throughout Colorado including the mountains. Fantastic coverage - even when climbing 14ers.

AT&T is horrible. My boyfriend just got an iphone and it drops almost every call. It will actually say "good-bye" in the middle of me leaving a message and then hangs up on me. The phone is cool and long as you don't actually want to make calls on it- haha. Right now he is trying to get his iphone replaced because the battery stopped working and they actually have to take the phone apart to replace the battery. What were they thinking when they designed the phone???????

Arapahoe / Quebec, Englewood, CO 80111 Tue Aug 01, 2006

I live right at the corner of Quebec and Arapahoe - if I seriously move 2 feet away from my desk area - I drop my call and my phone switches to Analog - no signal found. If I make calls from my kitchen - I have 2 whole bars of coverage. Its not my phone either, my upstiairs neighbor has Verizon as well - he drops his calls constantly as well.

Get lousy reception at work in NW Denver. Also get lousy reception at home in Lakewood (Jewell and Garrison). Get generally lousy reception on drive from work to home, and almost always drop calls at Mississippi and Garrison. I would rather use the telegraph than Verizon but it's a company phone so I have no choice.

Calls from inside my house (two blocks south of Arapahoe Road) are choppy and I consistently get bad audio reports. If I step outside, especially on the Arapahoe Road side of the house, signal jumps to 3 bars and calls are then understandable but still not great.
