Calls often dropped, often incoming calls go straight to voicemail. Cingular customer service says that this is an area where I should get "good" reception and indicated that they will be updating their California network. Obviously I did not make it clear that I am having "dropped calls" and that I live in "Colorado." I get great service around CSU and old town, but that's about it in Fort Collins.

I have had every cell phone service they offer in Fort Collins over the last few years. I was moderately happy with AT&T, very unhappy with Verizon, and Sprint is just bad if you want to be able to use it in buildings. My T-Mobile phone, however, has been great. I probably only drop a call once every two months. I almost always have full bars wherever I go. This is the company to go with!

Usually pretty fair reception, but can be real spotty at times. Dropped calls, missed incoming calls and my own voice reoeating on my phone!.

In most of Fort Collins my reception is good (4 to 5 bars), but on the north end of town there are lots of drop outs, static, two bars at best.

We live on top of a small hill with good line-of-sight to one tower 1.4 miles E and another 1.5 miles West of us. However, cell bars (of 5 Verizon service phones in the house) are usually 1-2 bars. Calls are dropped and go uncompleted. Sometimes, we can stand outside and get another bar, but coverage is very poor. Verizon told us that there was no improvement possible. We are considering a roof-mounted antenna and repeater system for our house-but why should we pay $500 for Verizon' service problems? By the way, Verizon's coverage hole for S Fort Collins straddles LeMay Ave all the way north to Boardwalk. Also, there's no coverage once you get into the small foothills West of town.

Haveing a terrible time lately. Get Spotty reception in my house which is right next to the drive in movie theatre. Have called cinglar several times. They seem unwilling to belive that I'm not getting good service. I get 10 dropped calls a week and constant cutting in and out. Often times people will call me and my phone will not even ring--calls go straight to voice mail. Very Frustrating! Very unhelpful customer service. I most likely will change to Verizon. Some of my freind have that service and get calls at my house just fine.

Although my phone shows 3 to 4 bars, GSM reception is of very poor quality in this area. Calls are full of static, there is a voice delay between callers so you have to wait before responding so you do not talk over the person you are trying to have a conversation with. Overall recetion and quality is marginal at best--does anyone have any suggestions?

Great quality and reception! No real issues.. Some blds. I go into the bars go down other than that perfect. Only grip would be the outlined areas (i.e. greeley, loveland) reception drops a little if you get away from I-25 to much. Stay close to the 25 and every thing is perfect!

Very inconsistent. I have to call people back several times if I'm on my cell. Almost useless to call from my home. My wife, son, and daughter (each using different models) experience the same poor quality. Complained and they tell me that once the merger with Cingular takes place it *MIGHT* get better.

Just after passing the landfill on Hwy 14 WB my phone loses all reception. I have no bars, although the phone does not go into roaming mode, if I try to make a call, the phone keeps redailing and redialing. The reception comes back about 2 miles before you hit the interstate (I-25) on Hwy 14. Very annoying problem. This same thing happens on Hwy 34 westbound, unsure of the exact roads where reception is lost. But have dropped calls on both roads and are unable to get them back until just before the interstate.

AT&T so far is best is this area. My phone was the only one out of 5 that pulled service on top of long's peak. Overall has better service than sprint, verizon, and t-mobile. I have also been able to make calls while in the Roosevelt National Forest (pingree park area) while elk hunting!!

There are lots of dropped calls. There's supposed to be a new antenna in the areas as of 12/15/03. It improved reception significantly from where it was before, but Sprint PCS still has a long way to go on improving their network. My reception in my north facing condo which faces toward the new tower down about a mile away varies between 1 and 2 bars.
