Just after passing the landfill on Hwy 14 WB my phone loses all reception. I have no bars, although the phone does not go into roaming mode, if I try to make a call, the phone keeps redailing and redialing. The reception comes back about 2 miles before you hit the interstate (I-25) on Hwy 14. Very annoying problem. This same thing happens on Hwy 34 westbound, unsure of the exact roads where reception is lost. But have dropped calls on both roads and are unable to get them back until just before the interstate.

No reception in apartment. Even stepping outside to the parking lot only gains 0-1 bars. Zero reception west of Overland Trail. Coworkers with T Mobile get usable signal whereas I can't use my phone at all. Good reception in the Foothills Mall where Verizon gets no signal. In my opinion, T Mobile has the best overall reception in FTC.

WORST COVERAGE! I can't even speak to a representative because by the time they get on the phone, my service drops! If you're in the FTC, do not sign up for AT&T!

Dropped calls are more frequent than non-dropped calls. I've been an AT&T customer for 8 years, and now it's the worst ever! I've been loyal too long. The only help I get is a monthly $25 service credit. I tried the in-home micro cell, which sucked. They claim to be putting towers in soon, but it's way too late. Their business care is rather pathetic. I think it's funny that the employees at the ATT store in town walk around like there is no problem. They point the finger at the Iphone 4, not at their lack of service. Poor service and a weaker customer satisfaction program.

AT&T is absolutely terrible! I experience 4-5 dropped calls every day as my job takes me from Ft. Collins / Loveland to Greeley and back. When you call 611 they just don't seem to care. I don't need credit for minutes, I need reception. I have heard T-Mobile is just as bad, I don't know where to go next but it certainly won't be with AT&T!

I just switched from Verizon to Sprint. I've missed more calls in the last 24 hours than I've missed in the last year. (I know I missed them because I am getting voicemails without a missed call notification.) I live in English Ranch, just north of Front Range Village. Sprint offers the Airave (look it up for more info), which will solve the problem at home, but now I'm concerned about other areas. I am an electrical contractor, and missed calls = lost business. Time will tell, but the problem is that I'm not sure I can afford to wait and see.

Reception for me is HORRIBLE all over Fort Collins. AT&T is a big mistake if you live here--I am looking to get out of the plan all together.

Some dropped calls from my house and a lot of breaking up. I have to go outside to the middle of the yard for fair reception. Does not work at all in the mall on College. Great on I-25 but drops service altogether on Hwy. 14 between Ft. Collins and Ault. I have also had, in the past 4 years, Sprint and AT&T. I think overall Verizon worked better but their phone costs are so high for what you get I think I'll go back to AT&T.

Generally pleased with Verizon. Good coverage in general around Fort Collins and up and down I-25 (I've never had a dropped call when outside or in my car anywhere in Fort Collins). I've also been very pleased with nationwide coverage when traveling, and FWIW Verizon customer service is pretty decent. Unfortunately, one of the weakest areas in FC that I've run into is right near our house in Parkwood East. There, the signal is weak but usable around our home and inside on the main floor and upstairs, but not usable in the basement. Signal improves significantly within 1 / 2 mile in any direction. Notably, our older Motorola v710 phones would work OK in the basement, but not the Motorola Q smartphones.
