T Mobile has fairly good reception in the Longmont area but drops from 4G to 2G in the Hover Rd. area (where the Target, King Soopers and all major shopping is) which is incredibly frustrating because 2G is basically useless. It generally gums up data completely and often needs a full phone reset to get data back online. The phone just seems to be unable to transition easily back to 4G after going into 2G mode. Also, dropped calls every time on Hwy. 52 in Niwot near Somerset at the top of the hill and very frustrating multiple drops on Arapahoe Rd. in Boulder. While many times there is the strong 4G coverage in the general Longmont / Boulder area and 4G data speeds are really good, some towers are clearly not 4G converted and are clearly causing major reception / data / dropped call issues causing the service to be sub-par compared to Sprint and Verizon in the area. If they can only convert the rest of their towers to 4G I think the service could really be quite good.

I got TMobile for their deals and "coverage". Unfortunatly when I was at work, the only place I could get signal was on my bosses couch, standing up ON the couch. My boss wasn't happy. At home, I had to drive 3 miles to get any coverage. When I brought it back after 4 days, because of their 14 satisfaction guarentee, they had no problems. I recieved a bill a month later even though it was cancelled. Someone stole the SIM card, changed the favorites and ran up the bill. They refused to do anything until I threatened a lawsuit. Shortly after, they shut down the store for complaints and theft. I will never use TMobile agains

I acually got 6 bars inside the new walmart on the east side of longmont, co. This is the most bars I'v ever seen on Sprint. As a matter of fact I thought my phone only went up to 5 bars max.

I first called to order AT&T service May 8th. It's now May 20th and I still don't have the correct phones. It's taken this long and 20+ calls to them to just establish service and get phone delivered. It's been the most frustrating experience. Then there's the coverage. We initially went to AT&T because our new place was in a Verizon low-zone. AT&T's signal in our place was much better. But it drops almost every other call. It shows full bars, then just drops. I also see my phone will full bars one minute, then searching for a signal the next. In the 5+ years I had Verizon, I had maybe 10 dropped calls the entire time. With AT&T, there were 10 in the first few days. We're going back to Verizon and getting a home network signal extender. This is ridiculous.

Constantly drop calls, called AT&T about this and asked if they could match the prices of other carriers. They have the highest priced plans and their coverage is terrible. Their cancellation rep told me "she doesn't blame me for wanting to switch carriers"

AT&T has horrific reception in North Boulder. Not even possible to make a call or get data. Sprint was terrific before I switched to AT&T to get an iPhone. Definitely either going back to Sprint or switching to Verizon when they get the iPhone. Can't handle much more of AT&T!

I must say that everywhere in my apartment building I have full bars all the time. I actually haven't experienced any dead spots that I can think of anywhere in Longmont. Only going up into the mountains there are obviously some issues as is the case with almost any handset.

I hate AT&T! I've been through 6 phone replacements and still do not have service in most of downtown Longmont. Their customer service is the worst - I spend hours on the phone trying to cancel my contract. I had better cell phone service 10 years ago. It's only gotten worse since the merger.

We recently moved to the Loomiller and Forbes Neighborhood just east of the Longmont Hospital. Our T-Mobile service is pretty much non-existant. I want to find a cell service that will work in this neighborhood. Anyone know of any?

Rarely do I get more than 3 bars at this location. Most days it shows 3 bars but then drops to 1 or 0 bars and drops calls left and right even if I'm out on the porch. If this keeps up I may have to reduce my contract to the minimum service plan and get a land line.

My T-Mobile coverage in South West Longmont is horrible. I've been complaining to them for about 6 months. Tonight they told me they plan to install a new tower in my area but who knows if that will help. Coverage in Denver and Boulder is great, although I often experience dropped calls on 119 or 36 between cities.

Splotchy coverage around town, near non existent coverage at and in my house. Generally, east Longmont is not really that great with this phone. I wonder if a better phone would help. Worked great in Denver, not so up north

I live by a tower and when I am at home I get none or one bar. Half of the time the phone will switch to digital roaming with no bars and then if I go to our basement it will stay on digital roaming and raise to 3 bars. The phone itself is great, it's just the signal strength sucks.

I get better reception upstairs, very few dropped calls. On the ground floor, I get poor signal (usually 1 bar), audio dropouts, sometimes a dropped call.
