Towers are over loaded at times so ther can be a wait. Reception varies from zero to approximately three bars depending on the weather.

Downtown Louisville has no reception at all for T-mobile, 5 bars on AT&T. Elsewhere in Louisville is OK reception on T-mobile, but zero reception downtown is a deal breaker. It means we can't be reached by a baby sitter when we go out in town.

After reading all these reviews, I'm convinced that it's all just a crap shoot. Every single carrier has it's lovers and it's haters. Perhaps reception variation is simply an inevitable feature of the technology of wireless communication, and we all might as well stop blaming individual companies for the fact that reception isn't perfect everywhere we want to go. Not one company's service is perfect in this area. Not one!

I have been very disappointed with AT&T service throughout the Boulder area. I rarely get service inside of buildings and even outside I am usually 1 to 2 bars most of the time. Calls are dropped almost every time I call from the car :( As bad as I thought T-Mobile was, AT&T appears far worse. I might have to jailbreak my iPhone and switch to T-Mobile.

AT&T coverage is weak in the Rock Creek Circle area. Verizon is very strong.

I receive calls about 100% of the time, occasionally dropped in certain spots that are apparently well known like Hwy. 36 on going over the Davidson mesa, bad at about halfway to Boulder on S. Boulder Rd but for the most part pretty good. Qwest used to use more than one carrier but I think they have gone over to Cingular, I should check it out. I was thinking of moving to Crickett but their coverage is somewhat lacking by comparison, definitely giving up my home phone, but I have a land line at my office.

Reception at my home is very average. Sometimes 5 bars but usually 2 or 3. I can hear callers OK, but they complain that there is a lot of static. When driving down Pine St. towards Old Town the reception is very poor and I drop calls all of the time. AT&T really needs to put a centrally located tower in the town of Louisville and increase the level of service in this area. It's quite unacceptable at this point.

service here is extremely unreliable. It will go from 4 bars to no service while standing in the same spot. Almost impossible to have a complete conversation
