	Confirmed 5 bars from AT&T in Nederland. Not just on the outskirts past the town border as in past years but in "Old Town". Full 3G with 5 Mb / s downstream and.7 Mb / s upstream using my iPhone speed test app. Probably the best speeds I've seen (naturally not many up here are using it yet). I'd been planning to leave AT&T at the end of the year... I want different phone options... but unless some other service is active in this spot by then it looks like AT&T found a way to hook me.

	Looks like they must've fired up the new cell tower! I had marginal reception before. Had to leave the phone sitting at the window and use a bluetooth. Now I have 5 bars where ever I go in my place. Looks like it just started today or yesterday.

	Verizon cell phone service now up. 3 bars sitting in house. 4 bars through most of town. service almost to the narrows in the canyon.

	I can get a bit of reception (1-2 bars) on my AT&T Blackberry, but only on this hill outside of town.

	As far as I can tell, NO cell phones work in Nederland. I was with a group of 15 people, and NO one got any service anywhere in town. I've heard some NIMBYs have been blocking a tower. They're worried about environmental impacts, while not realizing that their house in the mountains and SUV commuting has WAY MORE impact.
