	Used to get average reception but Verizon made some changes and everyone in the Rye area gets poor to no reception. Verizon provided average service for 10 years and now they won't even discuss the problem. All I get from them is they have no plans to improve reception. One of the human robots at Verizon call center I talked to actually thought my problem was funny and laughed about it. I got angry and hung up on Jose and he called me back. He laughed some more. I do not think it is funny when Verizon at one time provided service in and around Rye and then made some tower changes and abandoned the entire community without plans of restoring service so we are stuck with contracts for a service we cannot use. I cannot possibly recommend anyone ever use Verizon because you will never know when they will one day decide to quit providing service to your area after providing the service for 15 years.
