I had verizon, got no service whatsoever, now have ATT and get decent service, usually 2 bars.

I've had calls dropped. Usually the bar fluctuates between 1 or 2 bars. I also noticed if the weather is wet or damp, you can lose signal for a time period. In the past I had a Ericsson T-28 and the same pattern occurred too.
