I have been using an old Motorola V190 with AT&t since 2003 and I get great reception and I can't remember the last time I had a dropped call. My advice is to check out the specific phone you are using as it is clear that when people complain about a dropped call they are only blaming half the hardware. I have news for you... ... ... not all phones are equal... ... ... sure cell tower location is important, but so is the phones ability to transmit and receive.

AT&T gets good reception all the time outside, not so much inside, but I live in a brick building. I have dead spots in my apt. They have vastly improved over the last year / year and a half. Like the other commenter s - there is a "dead zone" in Ridgebury near St. Elizabeth Seaton church. Also going through Weston / Easton as well as out for at least 5 minutes near the reservoir. And going into Fairfield on Rt 58. But other than that very reliable, hence my rating of 4. My phone may be at fault, my friend's iPhone gets better, if you can believe that.

Been lousy for years. Cell tower (not sure which carrier) less than one mile as the crow flies, but hilly terrain. Verizon not much better.

NO service is usually the case while in restaurant. JK's has plenty of windows on three sides and it is located on major throughoufare (RT 53) and is in downtown Danbury... yet poor service. Come on ATT

Service poor off of exit 2 - try to do a 60 minute telephone meeting from home, and phone dropped 5 times. Service very inconsistent. Always drops in downtown Danbury. Switching back to Verizon as soon as my contract with Cingular is over!
