Depending on the phone and the spot I am standing in, I have somewhere between no reception and one bar. For years, this was the best of any service I had in my house. Now I am the only person in the house that doesn't have service. Verizon and Cingular work fine.
Hardly connects and if so, then is quickly lost. I get a voicemail alert the next day from the night before. Verizon thinks i'm crazy. It's a new digital phone and my fiance's old analog works perfect. Signal is lost as soon as one enters the West portion of the apartment complex. Maybe it's all the Wi-Fi jamming the signal????????! pissed though.

No reception inside the house. One bar, maybe, if I go outside away from the house. Two blocks away at Benham St. and Dunbar Hill Rd.I can get 4-5 bars. I guess AT&T believes that fresh air is good for me. My previous Cingular phone was just as bad.
I have Sprint PCS service which is really no service at all at my home on the back side of East Rock. Not only do I not have Sprint Service, but when I turn the phone to roam, the service is spotty. I work in dowtown New Haven where Sprint service is fine. But I lose my signal all over the rest of the area... sometimes on the shore, along Quinnipiac Ave, and certainly when I head west into the Valley. If you call customer service they'll give you free roaming time to make up for poor service areas. Still, I'm frustrated when they tell me I should have service... I don't.
At home (streets listed) I have poor reception. Phone goes into roaming occasionally. Even when I display several reception bars, people on the phone with me complain about drop outs. I have experienced similar spotty coverage elsewhere in the state, when I travel, I almost always get better reception, so I know the problem is not with the phone itself.
I have very few problems. My phone is trash and so if I have the attenna covered then my reception goes down, but otherwise very good everywhere I go. A little spotty in Woodbridge, but otherwise good. The East Rock park issue might be fixed because I noticed a tower not listed on the map. Could this be a new tower that no one know about? Its on State street near ridge hill school.
