Top of Gypsy Lane and most of Meriden, get 1 or 2 bars. Bottom of Gypsy Lane, get No Reception most of the time. TMobile Customer service could not help. They would not cancel my contract. I recommend AT&T in CT.
When I walk outside I consistantly get between 3-5 bars but as soon as I walk in the house it drops between 1-3 and I get frequent dropped calls and horrible reception. As I work in an at home business, it makes life very frustrating as this is my work number and I have to either go outside to talk or tell them to call me back on my landline. Reception is generally good in other areas of CT for me as a comparison.
For everyone who has NEXTEL feels my pain... this service seems like it gets worse everday... i get no service in my own house and when I do I got to stay by a window. The 2way cuts in and out sometimes it sounds like I'm talking to someone from mars... wtf... Then funny thing is I always get mail from Nextel saying how better the service is in Meriden...
I do not have any bars inside my home in South Meriden and have spoken to many neighbors with the same problem. Two new neighbor's were forced to install a land line due to no bars! Doesn't matter what carrier is used, poor to no reception is the rule in this area
