I get pretty decent service anywhere in Milford besides near the beach where it will roam. I've had times I couldn't use my phone on parts of Route 15 and some rural areas but as far as Milford goes, the reception is good. My brother has Cingular and doesn't get good reception at all in his house but with Sprint I get perfect reception. :he also lives in Milford but a different section. Even with decent reception, their customer service and billing errors are enough to make we want to break my contract. Thay are NOTORIOUS for messing up on your bill or having longer than 30 minute hold times, only to get hung up on when you finally reach customer service. And this is NOT an isolated incident.

Lots of dropped calls. Signal goes from 3 or 4 bars to no bars constantly. I can look to the North in the winter and see the cell tower on Wheelers Farms Rd.from my living room, why I have poor reception both inside and outside my house is a mystery Sprint cannot explain. As move over the rest of Milford reception is generally good except along the beach where it is also terrible. Friends who have Cingular and Verizon seem to have no problem at my house even in the basement.

Depending on where in my house I have 3-5 bars, never less. Outside always at least 4 bars, so not sure why the other Sprint comments say reception is bad in milford. I do drop down to 1 bar when on the beach.

Anywhere near Foran High School to Woodmont beach area expect to bid farewell to whomever your talking to.More than once I told the person I was talking to I'll call you back because we're going to get disconnected and guess what, within a matter of seconds it happened.A shared tower on Eels Hill Rd would solve all the carriers problems.

Almost every call ends with a "dropped call". I can't keep a call longer than about 3 minutes before an intermittent drop. The signal strength will drop from 3 bars to zero then back up again (after hanging up on my caller). Sprint has good coverage everywhere else (including some areas of my Carribean cruise!)... why not CT?!? Considering we're the north suburbs of NY City, can't we get a decent signal, Sprint? Can you hear me now?

I have had Sprint since 1998 and loved them. Once you get past the customer service (which improved drastically mid-2005), they're not a bad company. I've had great coverage across Washington, Oregon, West Virginia, and even in the New York metro area. Why can't CT get some more towers?! I work literally in the middle of downtown Milford (there are no high-rise buildings here to block RF either). My phone battery is dead after being unused all day, just looking for a signal. The signal pops in and out, but only long enough to notify me of a voicemail from a missed call that never rang. Up and down the Post road, and on the 15 parkway, there are intermittent dropouts too. There are no consistent places to get good or bad coverage. I don't dare use the phone for fear it will disconnect... it's literally that bad.
