You're not going to get any better than AT&T when it comes to reception in the entire new canaan suburbia. Weak spots are in the East side of town (Dead service near the cemetary) and northern Valley road and its offshoots. Travelling from NC to Pound Ridge you will not lose service once, that whole area is very strong. Verizon also has decent service in the area, but youre going to get DEAD signal anywhere along valley road or really anywhere outside of a 1.5 mile radius of the business district. T-Mobile is horrible and you'll be lucky not to drop a call while in the center of town (exaggeration, but anywhere outside of the business district and you will be dropping calls, even along major highways).

I do get service at my house, however, the calls are almost always dropped, and there are times when I have no service at all. Something I find odd, is that I can leave my phone sitting on the table, one minute it will have all bars, and then no service, I have had multiple phone, and it has happened with all of them, so I know it is the service. I am switching to Verizon.

I am told New Canaan on 123 is like a valley so the signal will be low. No Service from my house, missed / dropped calls, called Nextel about this and they upgraded the software on the phone and added a signal booster but still the same ol' same ol'. Not happy with this service. Moving to T-Mobile.

I get very poor reception even if I am right behind the person I'm speaking with. I always lose connection while on Frogtown Road.

Reception is between no and poor at best. T-Mobile coustomer service is the worst, they lie, cheat, and when possible over bill and wont return calls when a supervisor is requested. I called the office of the president, and for three days no one has returned my calls. The only reason I can think of is they are getting alot of complaints abouve servie ie billing. I have been a T-Mobile client for 11 years and now I am looking for another carrier. DO NOT GO TO T-MOBILE FOR SERVICE

Very weak signal at home. Calls often drop, and even when I do have a signal it's so weak that moving from room to room, or just within a room, can cause the call to drop.

Good reception most of the time with all or almost all bars, but some days calls are dropped several times a day. I don't know if I would do better with another carrier or not.

Reception can widely vary, often due to weather conditions.

There is no reception with any cell phone carriers in this area period.
