Good reception all around Candlewood Lake in Brookfield, Danbury and New Fairfield, including high-speed EV-DO data access. Very few deadspots. Sherman lacks data coverage and has many deadspots - try Cingular / ATT or Nextel in some areas, which is sometimes better or sometimes worse. New Milford gets worse as you get north but works OK along Rt 7 to the town center.

Today January 27, 2006 Verizon finally got on the tower and I ahve perfect service everywhere in new fairfield

We don't have service in teh middle of our town. Verizon is suppose to go on our tower, but that was a while ago. :-(

With the new town of New Fairfield tower and the existing tower across Candlewood Lake, reception is excellent.

Decent at West King and again on Ball Pond Rd (Rte39N).

I use T-Mobile as my personal cell phone. The Nokia 6290 is an old analog phone I've had since 1999. I don't get reception at home, which is okay for me. However, I get 5 bars throughout the town. My work phone is a low-end LG on Verizon Wireless. I get one bar at home with a drop call once in a while, which I expected. When I travel into the center of town, Verizon's coverage is spotty, even down Rtes 37 and 39. Verizon is suppose to have better coverage in the fall. Additionally, I have a work Blackberry that's on Cingular. This has the worse coverage in town and at my house. Signals get dropped frequently. I work in White Plains, NY and travel I-684. T-Mobile and Verizon get awesome coverage all the way. Again, Cingular has the worse coverage. Thank goodness allowed me to test 2 additonal providers.

Perfect signal in town, drops off once you get to Columbia Drive (off of Warwick).

Only coverage is west side around Ball Pond and at High School.

Verizon drops to zero on Stateline Rd, and therefore in the Clark Rd. / Westview Trails area in New Fairfield.
