Traveling on route 25 from the Newtown Flagpole in center of town to RT 111 in Monroe is good reception. I haven't had any dropouts and use a Digital / Analog phone not GSM and maintain 5 to 4 bars all the way.

I have poor coverage even while outside most of the time despite being on one of the highest points in Newtown. There is also a dead spot on route 6 from Taunton Lane towards Newtown Power Equipment. Shame on people for trying to block a cell tower on route 302 in Dodgingtown, it wouldn't affect anyone as long as it was made to look like a 'tree' as I've seen in other areas.

The service in this area of newtown is terrible, you either get dropped calls or no service from sand hill plaza almost to route 302 wher service picks up again with about three bars. Verizon should put an antenna on a cell tower that is almost right across the street at a lumber yard.

Just moved to this beautiful area of CT. I am in no hurry for cell coverage, I could care less if cell phones went the way of the dinosaur.
