Occasionally get one bar, but not often enough to be useful.

maybe one bar - roaming - never can make calls out even though there appears to be a bar - all the way to ridgebury near the overlook / mansions - then the signal drops off all the way to i-84 - crap service -

No signal. Very frustrating.

The T-Mobile website says that coverage exists in Sout Ridgefield, but it doesn't seem to be so. No signal indoors or out.

I live in the Ridgebury Area of Ridgefield, CT and there are many locations where you will travel for a few minutes and receive absolutely no service. There are some good location son the border of Danbury, CT that give good cell service. There closer you get to Main St.Ridgefield, the more cell service you have. I have heard of plans that they will put up a cell tower near Ridgefield High School, but this may not give good results, because the high school is in a valley, in between two very large hills.

We all love to hate our cell carriers, but, I have to admit that Verizon is better than anyone else. The dead zones for Verizon in Ridgefield are dead for all carriers due to lack of a tower. I have had Verizon for several years and use it all over North America and it is generally better that AT&t, T-Mobile and Sprint.

Horrible - Multiple dropped calls a day. Almost no reception in house or outside. Verizon denies severity of problem. Need to find a better service for Ridgefield!

Have had Verizon for 3 1 / 2 years - excellent reception in most places, only dead zone I've found is Rt 33 just north of Wilton line.. Also I've spent considerable time in many other states including VA, TN, NY, OR and WA. In all this time and in all these places, I've never been in a situation where someone with another carrier could call and I couldn't. But many times the reverse has happened, including in my father's home in rural WA state where he was shocked I could make a call. I spent 5 months in south central TN working with a friend who had Nokia / Cingular. There, both phones seemed exactly matched - we always seemed to both have coverage or not no matter where we were. Calling from Kanata, Ontario in Canada (near Ottowa), too, was no problem. I hate Verizon's plans, pricing, (lousy) customer service and lack of GSM, but I grudgingly must admit their coverage seems about the best.

At this location, the phone rings, but the call is erratic and almost always drops.

I get reasonably good reception with Verizon; however, it is less reliable on the West end of Ridgefield by South Salem and in the Ridgebury area.
