Somewhat better since AT&T / Cingular merge. Once a call has been started it probably won't be dropped along Bushy Hill, but there are several areas where you cannot start a call.
i love the service, I can make calls anywhere in my house and have not had any problems anywhere else. I only know of one other place (a section of Bushy Hill rd. on the way to Avon) that I lose the signal briefly.
