Hello. I have Sprint unlimited data with a nexus x and I've been getting good reception here... but the overall speed is slow. If any wireless providers are reading, I don't like that you are working on 4g so fast because there is no point in doing so when there are large holes in reception. Build more cell towers THEN think about 3g or 4g. Btw Im only 15yrs old. IT DOESNT TAKE A GENIUS TO FIGURE OUT HOW THIS WORKS. 1 MAKE TOWERS 2 UPDATE TOWERS TO MAKE THEM MORE RELIABLE 3 MAKE TOWERS FASTER (4G) 4 MAKE PROFIT FROM NEW CUSTOMERS

Have no bars at all... .when I called AT&T they said it may be my phone but most of family and friends have same issue. They also said a tower was being worked on for the past 2 days... still no bars.

Re my Sept 10 post below, problem was fixed about Sept 11 or 12. Sincere thanks to AT&T.

Starting 2 days ago, Sept 8, 2011, AT&T's nearest tower began to not locate my 2G phone at home for all incoming calls, sending them all directly to voicemail. And text receipts / sends lag by about 2 to 5 hours. Never any problem in prev 10 yrs. from this location. If I drive south 1 mile to Newfield Green shopping center, phone works fine. Something went wrong with the tower recently. I notified ATT yesterday. No fix yet.

I've been had AT&T here for 1.5 years and the reception has been good / perfect -- up until 2 days ago. Now my whole family (we all have iPhones) gets between 0-2 bars in the house. Is anyone else experiencing this? It's ridiculous.

Signal strength fluctuates between 0 and 3

barely get 1 bar, sometimes 2, the only thing consistent about the connection is that it drops out consistently

1 bar to no service, this location is valley, elevation helps.

No service, must drive 1 / 2 mile south for phone to come alive.

Switched from Verizon (1 bar sometimes ) to T Mobile- 0 bars. Reception dies North of Merritt Parkway. Third World.

reception depends on foliage: 2 bars without leaves, 1 bar with leaves. Wireless broadband also works. No other carrier besides Sprint works here - 11 / 08 / 08

Very Disapointing that we live in the 21st Centry and our wireless phones still stink.

Verizon wireless "Can you hear me now? What. Batteries go dead within a couple of hours from searching for a signal when inside the house. Must not touch the phone if you need to make a call except for rotating it to get "that one signal bar" so your call will go through.

my phone is always searching for signal in my house which kills the battery in a day.nextel needs to do something immediatelly.

the T-Mobile V3 RAZR has much better coverage than the Cingular Motorola V220. we just dropped Cingular in favor of T-Mobile, and the new phone and carrier made a noticeable positive difference. We used to get 0 to 1 bars with the V220 and Cingular.

Nextel now NexHELL since the Sprint merger. Rock solid reception BEFORE the merger. 90% of the calls now get dropped. Echo now on almost all calls. Can't wait to switch service providers.

No signal at my house and it drops all across Wildwood from Riverbank to Hunting Ridge. It stays bad until Giovanni's Steak House and then gets better. Its great downtown but really choppy up towards and into NY. I know exactly where the calls drop so I try to time my phone use accordingly. I wish there was a carrier besides Verizon servicing this area. There is no excuse for this poor service and they consistently dont offer the best phones or if they do they disable some of the best features. Still, I am stuck with Verizon because nothing else works all that well up here (though my Mom is using ATT and does OK... but she is mostly in NYC and not much of a cell phone user so its hard to tell.)

Ridiculous lack of signal for being so close to a major city. I need to switch carriers.

Terrible reception... only response I've gotten regarding this issue is that the tower(s) have issues that are currently being fixed... whatever that means.
