I can hardly wait for this contract with AT&T to end. I made the switch to AT&T when Verizon had no iPhone and have regretted it since. After numerous complaints to AT&T about no service inside my home, there is no resolution. I never had a dropped call with Verizon, now I hardly ever get a call without having it drop. Everywhere else in the state, I have no problem. AT&T claims the phone is defective: but, it is the same story for the other two phones on the account. Apple has cheched out the phone and there is no defect. I want what I pay for, not the AT&T run around.

Need this phone for emergencies and it is useless

In 10 years of having Verizon cell phones in this area, we've never had a problem getting or receiving calls, or with dropped calls (except when talking to people on other carriers). Would never switch to another company.

Sprint, so far, is the only carrier with any reception at all. Calls break up slightly, but at least calls don't drop lilke with T-Mobile and Verizon at our house.

Calls drop inside house. Even outside there is virtually no reception.

We are less than 1 / 4 mile west of the intersection. Virtually no reception with our T-Mobile phone, in or out of the house.

Cingular works well when I travel. However, I encounter tons of dropped calls in my house. Sometimes the phone won't even ring and the voicemail alert will go off. Very frustrating for the price Cingular charges for all their services. I'm considering switching to T-Mobile to, at least, save 40 to 50 dollars a month.
