I have a company blackberry on ATT and the call quality is deplorable and it continously drops calls ulike my personal Nokia with T-Mobile which provides exceptional call quality and coverage in DC. I have spoke to ATT on numerous occasions but they are unwilling to acknowledge there is an issue if I had the choice I would dump ATT and in a flash

I have a G1 (Android) and I get great service in my house and ok serivce at work South Dakota Ave NE. My web is also fast at both, but then again I also have a great phone. I had TMobile Flexpay for a year now and bill has been $104 - $106 EVERY month for 600min+myfaves+unl text / web+insurance (against loss!)+callertunes. I now have the option to have unl calls / text / web for $5 less but I don't want to lose myfaves (I never have overages). Sprint was my very first carrier, I hated their service most then customer service. Bills were ALWAYS a huge variation every month. Phone always OFF on $125 deposit. Phones were ok but I was always unhappy =( Then I had Boost. Service was even worse than Sprint which I thought was impossible. Get messages sometimes even a day later or not at all. Slowest web even. No 3G. No smartphones. No qwerty phones. Hated CHIRPING. Prices were great at $50 unl with no overages, phones were ok but always failed within months. (I got my white G1 in January and just replaced it from a loss but couldve sold it for $200 easy.) Then I had Virgin Mobile for a month since they had a fairly priced slider and $70 unlimited plan. Service was good. I HATED my phone and it was the best one they had to offer at the time. This was Dec 08 and they had that red and black slider. OMG I don't even remember what it was called. Web was only slightly faster than Boost but slower than Sprint. I dumped them in January 09 and have been HAPPY ever since!

On the 4th floor of a newer bldg, home to big law firm and many wealthy people reside on upper floors. The ONLY place I can get a consistent signal is next to a wall of glass at the outside edge of the building. Of course, I work about 30-40 feet away from that wall, so I get virtually no signal all day. I know, I know, the building needs to install repeaters or passive antennas to bring the signal in. But I never had that problem with my Verizon phone in 2007-2008, except when I worked in the basement of a building.

3G service here is absolutely horrible. At lunch time, I can't get a phone signal half of the time, and I street is a massive 3G hole. On top of this, no lunch spots around here offer WiFi, which is a scandal. I'm ready to boycott every lunch spot without WiFi and start brown bagging it.

Virtually no reception at my new house--I receive messages hours after they were sent, and calls do not come through! There was good reception at my old place in Adams Morgan though. No reception inside my office around Penn and 19th NW.

I work on the 7th floor on 12th st. in downtown DC and I get no bars. My Blackberry doesn't even pull my email. I have never had this happen anywhere else in DC with Verizon, but if I can't even get my email in an office building two blocks off Pennsylvania avenue, that's a problem.

90 percent of calls dropped in and outside around my house. Perfect reception everywhere else in the city. Verizon told me that it could not possibly be a problem with their network and that my phone is to blame. They sent me a replacement phone which is just as bad. Oddly, I get "1x - 2 bars" which should be fine, but the calls keep dropping anyway.

It's embarrassing how bad the coverage is in Glover Park and DC in general for AT&T. For a nationwide brand that is supposed to have more bars in more areas, a majority of my calls are dropped. In addition, incoming calls often go straight to voicemail. If I wasn't committed to another year and a half in my contract, I would drop AT&T and never look back.

AT&T service on my iphone drops every phone call inside my house. If I am on a call I always have static. On my Iphone AT&T is always full bars. It is terrible whether I am on edge or 3G. I had a Verizon Blackberry before and had no problems. Come on AT&T it is 2009 and your service blows!
