I get zero bars inside the house. I must stand at the front window to talk and there is 1 bar. There is no reception at the back window. Never buy AT&T. They are liars and horrible.
I've gone through two TREO 700wx phones and I still do not have reception inside my house. This is very frustrating because Verizon does not acknowledge this and their only solution is to hard reset my phone and / or replace at my own expense. With each phone replacement it resets my contract and therefore I'm going through lots of money replacing these phones at full price! I have fine reception everywhere else... just not in NE in any home or office building.
I live on Bolling AFB. We get little to no reception in our home. It drops at least every other call going out or in. I have spoken with T-Mobile with no luck. The first time they said it was a tower problem. Then they said it was a reflection off the water from the river >>eyeroll<< Then they said they are going to put up a new tower and the problem should be resolved in a couple of weeks. Ummm, not even close. Still crappy service. I came here trying to find a good carrier, only to find out they all suck out here. Dang those water reflections... .oy!
Haven't had much problem with the phone at all... anywhere in DC, except in my friend's apartment. It was in the basement though so it was difficult to get reception there anyway.
Poor, inconsistent signal. Calls lost when a train arrives in the station where I'm waiting, as well as when in the tunnel. I guess it's time to start texting...
I get little to no reception in my house. Friends and family cannot reach me, nor can I call out. I've tried standing outside to talk, but my calls are continually dropped. I've tried trouble shooting with the many Sprint representatives. My phone dropped the calls frequently enough that the Sprint representative had to reach me on my home phone. If you live in this area, avoid Sprint. (It also cuts out on sections of route Rt. 267.)
About half of all calls are dropped. Phone constantly switching between 3G, Edge and 'G' networks. Really awful. Much better in other parts of DC and outside of town.
