I use this phone for business out of my house all day long. Very, very few problems with coverage. Both this phone, and the Treo 650 could use some help in the bug department. I average one major bug a month. Sprints phone technical help is pretty good - when you get them on the phone. Their in-store help is the worst I have ever seen. Avoid the retail stores like the plague!

We were switched from ATT wireless when Cingular bought them. Now, we have virtually no reception in our living room, and moving to the kitchen puts both Nokia and Motorola phones on "Roam". No accountability at all from Cingular, and I don't care where their towers are if they don't give me service. We're stuck until the contract expires, and then, believe me, we'll switch.

Terrible Coverage. I switched from AT&T to Verizon and learned to regret it. My apartment gets absolutely no reception. Also, in order to get a new phone one needs to commit to Verizon and the phone you buy for two years (unless you want to buy another phone at full price)... .this phone's quality etc progressively deteriorates with time and so does the service. Reception is extremely variable, and my default is to assume a bad connection rather than a good one.

Lived there for 1 1 / 2 years and always had trouble with Cingular reception. Static, dropped calls, low signal, etc. It caused me real problems since we did not have a land line in the house and the cell phone reception was completely unreliable. Cingular's customer service was no help, either. I called them many times, and went into stores many times, and they showed me ALL the towers that were nearby --> I shouldn't be having problems there! I am so excited for my contract to finally expire so I can switch to Verizon.

I used to be an ATT Wireless customer until they merged with Cingular. For the last 2 years, I've had perfect reception in my apartment and around the DC-area. Over 3.5 weeks ago, reception in my apartment dropped along with spotty reception everywhere else, and service has not improved. Cingular has not been helpful only offering an explanation that they're converting old ATT towers -- a process that they don't expect to be completed until November! Plus, they've been less than generous with compensation for a phone that I can't use, not to mention the extra charges that I'm incurring on my home phone. Based on Cingular's refusal to deal with the problem in a customer-friendly way, I do not recommend them.

I usually get great reception, but after talking for a little while I will get this horrible static and people usually want to hang up, but I tell them to wait because it goes away after about 5-10 seconds. But then it might happen a few minutes later. It's very annoying. But their customer service is improving and that's important! And it would be nice to get reception in the Metro...

Horrible reception-- a few dead spots 15 feet from each other. Was told that on 14th St.there are broadcasting dishes that will interfere with Nextel reception... . T-Mobil customers do not have issues in this area- only Nextel

The Service has been rock solid for years. But a few months ago I started missing random calls... only to be notified of voicemail hours later. The phone always showed full service level.
