My dad had very poor service on his old Samsung cell phone. We could be standing side by side and he had to go outside to reach a tower. On my Nokia I had good reception. He new Motorola gives him service inside the house.

Since July 15, 2005, service has stopped near my home in New Castle County, Delaware. Cingular said all the towers are being converted to gsm only and if I still have an older atdm phone then I am out of luck. If I want service near my home I will have to get a new plan with a gsm phone. My phone works great about 1 / 2 mile away and elswhere in the state. I have a great plan and do not want to change it. Since the Cingular takeover the service has gotten worse. Over 15 minutes to try to talk to a service tech. I miss good old AT&T.
