1 bar most of the time. If I get 2 bars and try to call or use an app it goes to 1 bar or 0. Ended up having to get a Verizon air card for internet because my AT&T air card is worse than dial-up. Frustrating!

Great reception for both voice and data. Even on the beach. Very pleased.

They must have put a tower in Lewes because signal has gotten way better inside the hospital. You would usually have to go up to the 3rd floor or higher to get reliable signal. I can walk around now and have my phone actually work. They also put 3G in Lewes over summer which helps even more.

No signal at all, worst carrier for this area, had to get the Airave (which they gave for free ) makes the phone not ring now, about to cancel account. Can't send pictures, text or make calls

Terrible reception throughout Sussex County. Many dropped calls if calls go through at all!

Ridiculous. My husband has an AT&T phone which sat at 4 bars with 3G and I have nothing.

Amazingly, the Cape May - Lewes Ferry area has almost NO reception. Occasionally there is one bar, but only occasionally! Shameful!

Once you get past the Cape May / Lewes Ferry and head toward the Cape Henlopen State Park, forget it. The only way we get cell reception is to stand on my daughter's bathroom toilet on the third floor of our house!

Not sure what the person(?) on May 23rd was talking about. VZ has not improved at all here. In seven years. Same dead spots every summer.

Zip. Nada. all the way up to Broadkill and down to Cape Henlopen. Verizon has the worst coverage of the DE shoreline ever. AT&T crystal clear and solid

It's pretty good sometimes the texts can be a bit slow or twice to go through. Mostly I haven't had much problem on this phone. My ENV2 was horrible though.

This is very frustrating. I've been visiting here yearly for 12 years. Every year - no coverage along Bay Ave. No coverage at Cape Henlopen. I'm surprised VZW has failed to cover this area with a tower. AT&T is crystal-clear and solid.

Yeah... about this... Bring a friend with T-Mobile or Cingular with you since you get NO SERVICE WHATSOEVER here. The moment you pull in, "Searching for Service... " Not too good if your alone or driving back there in the night. You may get lucky and pick up service if your standing out by the beach, but its often roaming with Cape May, so it'll take a while to connect. And when you leave, reset your phone. I've gotten all the way up to the Ferry Terminal and still get no service unless I do a manual reset. Might be going with another company soon.

Very bad. Verizon is the best service around here.
