We switched from the Nokia "old technology" to Motorola V220 with GSM hoping it would improve... ..plus the phone was free... .no improvement. I was told that there were a lot of towers in Delaware. A guest had T-Mobile and got reception! At least we have 30-days no questions.

I would not use this service anywhere. No signal or very poor signal throughout Sussex county. I plan on changing carriers as soon as the contract expires. I use the phone throughout the Mid Atlantic and Northeast states. It lacks service in northern Baltimore, I-83, I-81 and I-88 corridors.

Very poor reception, have to go out and walk around to find a spot to make a marginal call. Indoors signal is non existent. I have contacted Verizon numerous times about this over the past 3 years and even though they sent somebody out to verify the poor signal levels nothing ever happened. Try another carrier here until Verizon gets their act together.

Verizon is great here! It even works in my house which is located in the middle of nowhere, although every now and then when I am indoors it gets a little "fuzzy" for a few seconds, but still not a single dropped call. I regularly am throughout the Indian River / Cape Henlopen areas and it has worked everywhere. I also get good coverage in Newark DE, Philadelphia, and Norfolk VA.
I recently switched from AT&T. I had great coverage in NEPA with AT&T but when I moved here, the situation was MUCH different. I only really got reception in the Beach areas. Rehoboth, DEwey, Bethany etc. As soon as I headed west, reception was VERY poor. (This was on an older model Nokia phone)
