I love how my phone says I have 4G and all bars but I can't get on the internet. In most of Middletown my phone calls are real choppy. I'm embarrassed to even let people know what phone company I have when they ask what is going on with my service. T-Mobile says there's service in Middletown so they’re not letting us out of our contract. You don't save any money with this company, so don't use them. Let them fail, just like they fail their customers.

Att is the best in the area. They have a tower in north Smyrna (helens sausage house), in the town of Smyrna, in Clayton, and in south Smyrna on Brenford road. Verizon and T-Mobile only have one tower site cover this entire area (north smyrna near the prison) Sprint has 2 ( prison tower and Brenford road). AT&T is the clear choice and the only choice that works well indoors in so many areas in Smyrna regardless of what the Verizon people say--try using your Verizon phone inside PNC or in a basement in Clayton or inside a house at Garrisons lake... I know I have had both carriers.

have only had Verizon for 7 months and had to return 3 storms. Never made or received a call that wasn't dropped. Half of the texts don't go through. Service has been horrible. They FINALLY let me switch to a new phone... a droid incredible. Received it yesterday and it doesn't even work. Just keeps turning on and shutting off by itself. Going to call today and demand to get out of my contract. Not worth the hassle... especially when they have the most expensive talk / text plan out there. I can go to T-Mobile and get two phones and pay $50.00 a month less than my one Verizon phone.

We have 3 different models Palm Treos in our immediate family (700p, 650 and 600) and friends who have Verizon that use different phones still do not get any better reception than we do. We get 0 to 1 bar in the house if we are very lucky; get maybe 1 solid bar standing in the street in either Garrison Lake Greene or Brenford Station developments. Verizon service here is horrible. Friends and family that have AT&T service seems to be the best in this area - they always receive 5 bars inside or outside the house in either development.

Remember, the type of handset you have plays a role in obtaining a good reception as well.

I have been a customer of Sprint for five years now and never complained. They have provided great service at all times except when I drive to suburb areas the signal goes down or fades and that happens very rare. Two years ago, they had poor signal at the coast lines (Indian river, tower beaches and Dewey beach), according to four weeks that problem has been fixed and I get perfect signal at the coast lines too. I am quite happy with them.
