I just switched to T Mobile, and I get no reception in my apartment, no text, no service. The worst coverage I have ever had. Dropped calls are constantly an issue.

So I work right near the pier and I also live a block or two away from my work. and I constantly have NO signal. sometimes ill get all my messages (15-20) of them all at the same time. It is getting very annoying, I am dropping Nextel as soon as I can. my brother says he can break my contract without me having to pay the fee. the farther west into Boca Raton I go, the better the signal gets. its like there is ZERO coverage on one of the most populated areas in deer field beach for Nextel users. and it just started happening a few weeks ago which was the oddest thing. only a few of my friends have Nextel and they get the same issue down near me. but everyone else even those who have Sprint they work just fine. go figure Sprint IS Nextel yet Nextel signals get the dropped and no signal crap.

Have more reception on Verizon then ATT, Tmobile, Nextel...

Most people keep on blabbing about how much AT&T sucks. I've been a customer for 10 years, I had a period where all my calls where dropped, I found out it was the phone (i didn't ask at&t) I got a new iPhone calls are great, speeds are fast. so I recommend at&T to all my friends.

Nextel sucks at almost everything from customer service to phone reception. I also spend a lot of time in DC and they screw me there as well. Don't ever buy a Nextel phone, the person who gave Nextel a good rating must be a Nextel employee. I can't wait until my contract is up and I never have to deal with this terrible company again (that includes Sprint).

Overall Sprint's signal is good except at our house (Clint M. and Lyons). Plans are Ok but store service is bad. We are thinking of changing carriers either to Verizon or Cingular.

Anywhere from Dropped calls to no calls recieved at all. MMS and SMS are never recieved... loose signal all the time.. and CS is a pain in the rear end. going with Verizon.

No reception whatsoever. This location is right next to I-95, King's Market, Mario's, Boca Town Ctr. Mall and Glades Rd... and just under the flight landing path for Boca Exec. Airport. Not only does phone not allow incoming / outgoing calls, it doesn't even display the msg. icon or flashing red light for days when VM's are deposited. Must be some sort of dead zone.

Since the Nextel / Sprint Merger... Nextel subscribers are suffering from consistently dropped calls, very poor reception, and the dreaded "please wait while the Nextel subscriber you are trying to reach is located" message for people trying to call you. I am happily leaving Nextel after the holidays, but am going to suffer the $200 contract cut off. However the benefits of LEAVING NEXTEL far outweigh the $200 cost. Believe me... NEXTEL is horrible in service, customer service, and phone functioning. Stay away!

I get full bars on my V551 that I had unlocked so I could use it on the T-Mobile network.

I've tried all the service companies out there (other than metro pcs) and Sprint has by far been the best. I constantly have full signal. In my house, in elevators, all across the state (except for about a 25 minute range on aligator alley, but nothing get reception out there), in stores, etc. I vote Sprint for the win.

After switching from the terrible LG recalled phone with terrible range and no service, I have been very satisfied with my phone. It's been a week, and I've only had 2 lost calls! Motorola phones have a much better range and I'd recommend Cingular as long as you invest in a good phone.

With this phone model I got absolutely NO SERVICE in my house. I'd lay on bed, try to make a call, and even the 1 bar showing would disappear when I pressed send. I'd lose calls after 30s of talking, and could never hear the person on the other line. I would go outside and walk around the neighborhood, but still suffered through the frustration of lost calls. I looked at the maps and see that there IS a tower in Woodlands Park (which my house backs up onto!), but still no reception even WHEN I'M IN THE PARK! This particular LG was actually recalled, and I went to the Cingular store and got the Motorola Razr (for a pretty penny) and had 3-4 bars in my room (out of 5). LG phones are terrible wastes of money.

Verizon was a very great company to deal with until they pulled a fast one with Motorola V710 users by "switching off" several bluetooth features on this phone, and not disclosing this to the buyers, which they were then sued for in federal court with a class-action lawsuit, which they settled out of court, if memory serves me correctly. That aside, Verizon may have the very best customer phone service in the business, but their signals in the Greater Boca Raton area have gotten weaker, not stronger over the past 3 years. Dropped calls all around Boca are frequent and annoying. Reception inside homes is non-exsistant. Dropping Verizon to get the new Razr V3 phone from Cingular, which uses GSM vs CDMA, and will also allow me to use my phone in over 150 countries worldwide, based on the reviews on Cingular on here and elsewhere.

I get great reception in my area, except for inside my home because of the cement ceilings. Great service nationwide as well.
