Never had a single issue with Verizon. Never a dropped call. Only wish they had better phones and cheaper plans, because there reception is the best.

Most of the time I get perfect reception but when it comes to church or at home (which are relatively close by) I have horrible reception. Everywhere else almost perfect. I have friends who have AT&T, Alltel, and Sprint and they usually have the same problem at the church. Verizon works great around the area though.

I have traveled most of the major and minor streets around tampa and brandon. Only rarely will I have less than 2-3 bars or a dropped call. Amazingly enough, I put my cell phone in a cup holder in the console which probably shields the phone from a lot of signal but it still works great. Sound with T-Mobile at times needs improvement but who doesn't? Its an overcompressed cell phone. I have been with T-Mobile for almost 5 years and I am very pleased with their service. I have been on 301 from riverview to 75, The entire crosstown, All bay bridges and all over St. Pete. Been on the phone from tampa to daytona on I-4 and sometimes back roads. Always on the phone and reception is great. I use nothing but the little cell phone and its antenna. I don't have a car kit or even a proper mounting kit. (Sits in cup holder using bluetooth earphone)

I have been a Verizon Wireless customer for almost six years now, and I must say that I get consistently good reception. The townhouse I live in is a test for reception as anyone that has T-Mobile or Nextel, has to go outside to use their phone. Mine always works, and my sister has Cingular which works most of the time. Verizon's rate plans aren't the cheapest, but what good are all the minutes if I can't use them? I'm sure I'll continue to be with Verizon Wireless.

Perfect reception throughout the Tampa Bay area PLUS I've used this phone with T-Mobile service in Budapest and Buenos Aires without a hitch. I'm ready to cut the land line--who needs it??!

North Brandon, just outside of Tampa? AT&T drops calls, looses connection, even outside. Really? Wihin a mile of two cell towers? I have friends with Verizon cell service and they get 5 bars no matter what. This is Tampa... .not out in the rural areas. Thank God my contract has expired... .goin' to the Big V for new phone... .

Outside the Sweetbay at the SE corner of Kingsway / Windhorst reception is great. Inside the building, reception is terrible and calls are dropped. Alltel told me that my old Nokia 3587i had the best reception of all their models, and it was the LG AX5000's fault for bad reception.

I use my phone as a home phone. The reception is off and on. But otherwise the service seems to be as good as any other.

I have two phones--one personal, one work. I drive down Lumsden every day, and in the same spot, between Parsons and Bryan, I cannot make a call. If I am on a call, it drops. This occurs on either phone. SOOO, it's not the phone(s)! I know it's highly residential in that area, but there could be something to work with for a new tower?
