I had to purchase a micro-cell to get any reception at all. when I moved here 2 years ago AT&T said they were putting in new towers in the area because the reception is so poor beachside. I have yet to see any improvement and am seriously considering switching to Sprint. Sick of AT&T's data games as well.

Nextel has promised better service for the past year but service remains poor. Frequent dropped calls and no service throughout the Cocoa Beach area. My contract is up in Feb 07 and plan to switch.

This phone is the worst. I went from a lower model phone last year to the latest and greatest, and they told us we were in a dead zone. Ive stuck with NEXTEL; only becuase of the PTT, but to actually tell us, as they sold us thenew phone and two year policy, how bad the reception was! I wonder if I have gruonds for plan termination? I cannot use my phone at home, or within three blocks!

I have Sprint. The reception in my house is very poor. I have to go outside on the A1A everytime I want to talk to somebody. Wanna switch, but can't because it's gonna cost me $200.
