My reception varies south of I-10 east on John King but I hardly ever get dropped calls. I am a long time AT&T user and that should tell you that I am satisfied with their service. Would really like to have 3G service here in Crestview though. I think the Edge system is way too slow to be paying for it. The 3G coverage in Fort Walton Beach is way faster.

Phone reception is so horrible... I can't call anyone and when I do get a hold of someone you can't hear past the buzz. Family plan and they have different phones same problem.

OMG... for the amount of money AT&T charges you'd think you can use the telephone without having to stand completely still in one spot or bammm call dropped. It's just as good as talking through two cans and a string.

We recently moved to Crestview and switched to AT&T. We went into the store and the sales person boasted about how much greater their reception is here so we took the bait and invested in the iPhone. Horrible decision! When I went back into the store, thinking it was my phone, I was told I get bad service because I live south of I-10 and I needed to buy a booster for $150, which I refuse. If you travel between Crestview and Eglin, FORGET talking on your phone. Half the conversation is bubbly sounding and then your call gets dropped. This has happened to me every day since getting this service 2 weeks ago. Beware!

I am in a new subdivision off Hwy. 90 near 393 and I have had great reception. I make road trips to NC, NY and lower FL all the time with no problem. The NC mountains and WV mountains give me trouble occasionally but this is the best service I've found.

I started out with Verizon and the service was horrible. Most of the time I didn't even have service. I switched to Cingular and have been very pleased with the service. I frequently travel between John King and Duke FIeld and Eglin AFB. I haven't had any trouble on Hwy. 85. I have decent recetion while on Duke Field, even while inside most buildings. Hwy. 123 has a couple of dead spots in the lower areas. Hwy. 85 near Eglin's ACC gate has one short dead spot. On Eglin Main my service is great, even near the Commissary and BX where I notice most people have no service. I have talked to many people that work and travel in the same area. They have all said Cingular's service is the best they have had in this area. I have been told that the phone manufacturer has a lot to do with the type of service received. Ask your service provider if there is a specific brand of phone that works best on thier network.

Poor or no signal in this rapidly growing area in Crestview. At least two subdivisions going up but no signal on Cingular phones.

I live on highway 393.No signal on cingular, the so called largest network in the nation! There are hundreds of people who live on and around this road including doctors and nurses. It is high time Cingular provided at least some signal strength.

Every since Cingular went with GSM technology my reception and drop calls and busy network messages, it has gotten worse, and now that they bought out AT&T, reception and service have both been getting worse. I have been in the same area for 13 years first with bell south which Cingular bought out years ago and have seen technology, prices, go up and up at the same time service and reception has gotten worse, going down down. I don't know what to do anymore.

I live south of crestview. (Campbell and 85). At my house I will see 4 bars. I make a call and it turns my phone off (0) bars. I work in Shalimar, and I need my phone in case something happens. I travel the 123. I am thinking about having my phone turned off, cause it really no good to me, unless someone has a solution. Can anyone honestly help?
