OMG... for the amount of money AT&T charges you'd think you can use the telephone without having to stand completely still in one spot or bammm call dropped. It's just as good as talking through two cans and a string.

We recently moved to Crestview and switched to AT&T. We went into the store and the sales person boasted about how much greater their reception is here so we took the bait and invested in the iPhone. Horrible decision! When I went back into the store, thinking it was my phone, I was told I get bad service because I live south of I-10 and I needed to buy a booster for $150, which I refuse. If you travel between Crestview and Eglin, FORGET talking on your phone. Half the conversation is bubbly sounding and then your call gets dropped. This has happened to me every day since getting this service 2 weeks ago. Beware!

We have even put in a cell phone repeater and booster. Only increased reception to 1 1 / 2 bars. Lousy service!

I am very happy with Alltel service and coverage. I have had no real issues in the area or while I have been traveling. I have only found one dead zone for coverage and it is on 85 just before the north end of 123. It is only a few moments and it is hit or miss. My contract is up and I am going to renew with Alltel. I have had three other providers and this is the best coverage I have ever had. I travel west and north and have not had any problems with getting a signal. I just wish Samsung had a touch screen with Alltel.

Just moved here from Tucson where I had excellent reception. Inside my house and around the outside my phone is constantly roaming which means I am missing a lot of phone calls and my voicemails show up hours later. My phone calls usually get dropped or fade in and out. I constantly have to have my phone hooked up to the charger inside the house. I get reception here and there driving around with the usual one to two bars. Just found out that the tower is 3.56 miles away from me! When I lived in Tucson, this phone worked in elevators and in the basement and in other buildings where no other phones had reception. BUT, I get perfect reception on the bridge right next to the Nextel store! AT&T has one tower, that I know of almost right next to the Sprint tower and he gets reception all over the place!

I though Cingular was bad... rude..incompetent... basic liars! Sent me a replacement phone..still no network! So Im paying $150 a month for 4 phones that suck!

I have great reception in FWB, but if I want to use my phone at home in Crestview, I have to stand OUTSIDE and still only have 1 1 / 2 bars!

I just switched over to the 850 area code and I seem to lost any kind of reception. I am always in extended area with this phone, but when I had my old phone number, which was in another state I could at least dial my other cell and it worked! I had to go to Ft Walton Beach to reprogamed my phone with my new number. Please Verizon, put a tower in Crestview Fla or two! I have been a loyal supporter, but now you are making me change to another carrier!

T-Mobile works well up to Airport Rd.on the north side of Crestview but not beyond that north to Laurel Hill or thru the Alabama state line. It works well south to the Shoal River Bridge but service is not reliable beyond that south to the intersection of Hwy. 85 and Hwy. 123. Service on Hwy. 123 is not reliable. It works well thru the Niceville, Destin, and Ft. Walton Beach areas. It also works well on Interstate 10 and Hwy. 90 both east tthru Tallahassee and south thru the Orlando area and west thru the Mobile area and beyond. It worked well south thru Puerto Rico. T-Mobile also works well in Atlanta, Dallas / Ft.Worth, Houston, and west throughout the Los Angeles area.
