I had Sprint a few years back and it seemed like all the places I normally was I wasnt able to make phone calls do to no signal. I love having Metro PCS. Its one flat rate and I dont have to worry about going over my minutes. I RARELY have dropped calls if any!

I have had Alltel for 6 months now and I have no problems whether I am in Dade City or Zephyrhills. It works in the house and in all the stores in town. Great reception!
I had AT&T for my 1st provider back in early 90's. I left for several years (at my teenagers relentless begging) to go to Nextel. In comparrison AT&T prices and service was superior. The recpetion was better, we had a lot fewer dropped calls. I went back to "AT&T / Cingular" last year. The only thing that I don't like is not being able to change your plan without extending your contract and not being able to buy new phones at a good price without extending my contract. They don't realize if they offer GOOD service, GOOD prices and flexiblity they don't have to take customers hostage with long contracts. It's all about SERVICE! Will they ever learn?
I finally decided to make the switch to Alltel and have loved it ever since. No problems anywhere in Dade City and the signal is always good. No dropped calls as of yet. Whether I'm at home (where I prefer not to say) or the Wal-Mart on Hwy. 301 or picking my son up from the high school, I've been real happy with the signal all over the area. It doesn't drop off near as quick as my Verizon signal did. It's generally always at 4-5 bars. It will drop down to 3 in the building I work at but it's concrete and every other carrier I've seen goes down to no signal or 1 bar. For the best service around here I will be recommending Alltel to my friends. All carriers are high in my opinion, but I do like Alltel's plans also with the circle and my son uses the texting a lot which was included so it really worked out well for us.
I have been using T-Mobile for 3 months now after spending 7 years with Verizon. I have better reception and my phone works in all the same places as the Verizon did, in fact a couple that Verizon didn't. I travel through Wesley Chapel daily to Lake O Lakes then on into Tampa to Kennedy and Westshore without any drop calls or lost signal. T-Mobile has greatly improved their coverage from what I have experienced. No complaints
Reception on the entire Nextel network in Pasco County has been slowly going downhill since the Sprint buy-out. A Sprint representative told me that the Nextel network would slowly fade away and that no improvements will be made in an effort to get everyone to switch to the Sprint Network. I'm not saying this is 100% true, but it sure does make a lot of sence, seeing as how Nextel has gone downhill so quickly.
nextell in this area has crappy service.we have 3 phones on our acc.1 is broken and nextell said if I wanted another phone I would have to sign another 1 year contract.I dont recomend nextell to any one.my bill is slowly creeping up since Sprint joined nextell.I think I will get rid of my land line by Sprint and go through brighthouse they havent screwed us yet but I am bending over and ready for what ever will come next from these unregulated companys who think they can just slip it in and keep customers, soon they will run out and they will have to start screwing our dogs and cats.I wonder if it will be cheeper if I bought my dog a cell phone,of coarce I would order doggie style phone for him,and the cat, well you know.
