Using smart phones for internet is a joke. Only good for texting and phone which works less than half the time. In case of emergency it is hit or miss. May as well have a whistle and smoke signals. I see the commercials promising amazing things with current technology, but truly have never experienced it. But at least no contract with T-Mobile. All of these services are overpriced. I pay $175 for little or nothing... at least for now.

I digitally roam with Alltel in Daytona Beach and get better reception than the ppl that have local carriers. I can talk from the shoreline to the back of walmart with no problems.

The signal varies across campus. In my dorm (student village) I consistently have 5 bars, and even in the stairwells and elevators I only drop down to 3 or 4. It's about the same with my AT&T friends. My T-Mobile friends average about 2 or 3 bars there and none in the stairwells. In some buildings (Lehman engineering building for example) I drop down to between 1 and 3 bars depending on where I am where my T-Mobile and AT&T friends get 1 if they're lucky Outside I get at least 3 to 4 bars no matter where I am

Sprint should have left Nextel alone on fixed their own problems.Nextel was fine until they merged and brought their problems with them including poor customer service ! I will be switching soon with no regrets.

Phone works great, no probs with coverage. Hybrid phone bad choice because if you need customer service, you better have atleast 20 mins hold time and be prepared to be transferred about 2 or 3 times to different departments. Bad customer service, and when I switched to hybrid phone me number got lost, had to get a new one. Of course, no credit towards bill

They seem to be stalling before making a decision. keep in mind I has a Sprint phone(nearby location} which ! traded in 12 / 06 / 2005 for a newer version. T he old onw had problems but was functional. What ca I do.

No bars. They need to quit blowing their money on "Sprint" crap and put up some towers. Since Sprint took over, the heck with nextel, its all about sprint. well I got news for them, if I gotta migrate to Sprint the can take my contract and shove it up their a$$

According to T-Mobile's online map I sit right on the line of the Good to Average line as far as reception. I have between 2-3 bars inside and a constant 3 outside. The further I get from a door or window the worse the reception becomes. It's bearable because I know sooner or later they will put up another tower and the reception will improve.
