Motorola RAZR V3

I switched from the old AT&T Wireless to the new Cingular and get much better reception at home. Delray Racket Club and surrounding, get 4 or 5 bars most of the time, with almost zero dropped calls.

LG VU

I've entered LG VU as my phone, however ALL of the phones (with the exception of a recent Samsung) that I've owned in my 11yrs with AT&T (yes, I've used their service before and after Cingular owned the company) have had EXCELLENT service. That includes two different periods, when electricity was down from two hard-hitting hurricanes... ... Even when I couldn't get calls through, I was able to send / receive texts... ... ... ... .I research all phones before purchasing, and read ALL user reviews that I can find. The one difficult phone I had was a switched insurance replacement, which upon complaining to At&t, they replaced at NO charge, with the excellent phone I have now. Over the past 11 yrs, I have lived in a few apartments and 2 homes - I receive service where other provider users don't.

Reception after 5 PM seems to go away completely. Most calls from the the early evening on within the home usually drop-off within the first minute. Phone was new in January and I don't recall problems such as this back then, but it seems that within the last 60 days or so the signal strength goes away. Doesn't matter what the battery power is either. Very frustrating.

Zero to 2 or 3 bars max; services fades out frequently inside home. Called service about the problem but for the most part they talk a good game and provide no lasting results. I don't understand how the service can fade (causing dropped calls or a searching for signal) so often. My phone is supplied by my company so I got Nextel and Sprint phones for my family so we can take advantage of the direct-connect. Now it seems like a big mistake. I am considering getting an in-house repeater to improve the Nextel service. But now that Sprint purchased Nextel I will have to waiting while they change their signal frequencies. If my company switches from Nextel / Sprint I will also switch.

T-Mobile keeps promising to add another tower... I have waited 10 years for it to happen... T-Mobile claims I should switch to their 3G phones... If I do, I will probably go to ATT.

Every call gets dropped; every call the sound is garbled. Phone doesn't ring I only know I have a call when voice mail is left. Sometimes voice mail is not able to be retrieved.

No bars... poor cell service all along A1A in Delray Beach and Highland Beach. Also in Tropic Isles area. AT&T forgot their TV commercial advertisement promises...
